Ryan Reynolds Devastated As Disney Nuke Deadpool 3

Disney Marvel have had a bad year to say the least, with their most recent movie The Marvels being the biggest flop in MCU history, and they only have one movie slated next year and that is Deadpool 3 with Ryan Reynolds. However despite that movie shaping up to be a good one I have a feeling it will also underperform at the box office, due to fans losing interest in the MCU due to Disney putting out countless horrible films over the last 2 years. It's sad to see Ryan Reynolds and his movie Deadpool not achieve the success it deserves, but all blame must be on Disney Marvel for driving away their own fanbase.

Apparently he wasn't allowed to do that for this one and that instantly makes me worry. I have a real sneaking suspicion it's not going to have any of that Ryan Reynolds charm. It's what really sells the Merc with the mouth in opinion. They had an easy win all we had to do is leave it the fluff alone. Especially with bringing in the original suit wolverine. I really hope I'm wrong and it turns out great. Just not feeling the warm and fuzzy.

Marvel Entertainment doesn't care about Marvel Cinematic Universe. I wouldn't care either. You cant mix water and oil. MCU wasn't established for dark and gritty character development because its Disney's watered down version of Marvel for cinema. The Incredible Hulk (2008) and Ironman (2008) where too "dark" so they lightened it up before they officially started the MCU. Its sucks but I actually respect and support them for trying to be faithful to the Disney trademark.

You are optimistic, Jesse. Part of Ryan Reynolds grief is that Disney want to Disney-fi this property, like any other they have gleaned control of. And that means buggering things up. Knowing that they wanted to reduce Reynolds input and control, and splice elements into it that serve their broader purposes, I cannot believe this will be a success. I do suspect it will be better than The Marvels. But that is a very low bar. My best guess is a 'middling' story that ranks mid-tier among all Marvel films. However, with the Disney brand turned to poison, I'm not sure it will have legs enough to reach epic heights of return. And as per the narrative, Disney will blame super hero fatigue. Disney has already sucked the life out of the MCU and turned it into a MSHEU. I want to see Deadpool 3, but I am not as excited anymore. Thanks Disney Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's are the only reason I still want to see it,

They should make one more OG Avengers movie with variants of the Avengers from different Earth's teamed up with some of our OG Avengers against a cosmic threat but chances are Disney/ Marvel would mess it up with wokeness.

I think it will be good but given the state of Disney audience interest it probably won’t be a smash financial hit but the movie will still be good for those that see it

What are you even talking about? Ryan Reynolds himself leaked test footage for the first movie in order to prove there was interest in seeing it. The only thing we've seen of Deadpool 3 is Wolverine wearing the comic accurate costume not the entire plot. The other MCU movies recently failing has NOTHING to do with Deadpool. Deadpool wasn't even a part of the MCU till Disney bought out Fox and honestly I'm expecting it to be the highest performing movie since End Game because the way the MCU is handling the multiverse is complete shit and Deadpool is the only character who actually makes sense being able to break the 4th wall. Look at Spider-man, Toby Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland should not be all playing Spider-man in the same movie together because having 3 obviously different people who are suppose to all be the same person only makes sense by breaking the 4th wall and acknowledging the actors rather than the character they're suppose to be playing. No one in universe should be able to tell they're 3 different dudes except for Deadpool. I mean She-Hulk can break the 4th wall too but her show sucked for entirely different reasons. Honestly I've been saying since End Game that Deadpool 3 is the only Marvel movie I'm actually looking forward to anymore because that movie was terrible and has negatively effected every movie that follows it. Marvel can't even follow it's own canon anymore because in End Game they introduced Time Travel, set up the rules for how Time Travel was suppose to work in this universe and then immediately ignored their own rules 5 seconds later in the same scene. And they repeat this twice in the same movie, the first time with Hulk explaining it to Ant-Man and then the second time with the Ancient One explaining it to Hulk. In both scenes they establish one set of rules and then immediately contradict themselves with an entirely different set of rules. And things haven't gotten better, literally every time it's brought up they keep doubling down on these contradictions. Some how Loki is the most watched Disney+ series and the problem is the worst in that series because the entire concept of the TVA is a contradiction. Their job is to collect variants to protect the sacred time line and stop the multiverse from existing except if there's no multiverse then there's no variants to collect, if there are variants then there must already be a multiverse and no sacred time line to protect. So either there are no variants and the TVA never needed to exist or there was always a multiverse and the TVA never needed to exist. Again, Deadpool 3 is the only Marvel movie I'm actually looking forward to. Literally nothing could ruin it. We had time travel in Deadpool 2 but unlike End Game they didn't introduce stupid contradictory rules to how Time Travel is suppose to work, it's actually 1 consistent rule and it's a little bit silly because of the 4th wall breaks so you don't even need to think too hard about it. Unlike in the MCU where it's two entirely separate rules that immediately contradict each other and they just keep flip flopping based on whatever is convenient for the lazy writers at the time. Honestly I hope Deadpool makes fun of it.

The seemingly ignorance that Bob Igor’s people hold around this is astounding. How can they not see that it’s because they deprive their genuine artists of their vision is what’s bringing their downfall? Pretty much everyone knows Deadpool is Ryan Reynolds’ passion project of his whole career, so if he’s disappointed, then the audience will immediately pick up on that. The Walt Disney Company was *always* about artists and their storytelling first and foremost, then the money. Hopefully Disney has a chance to redeem themselves, but in my opinion it’s looking very unlikely to happen right away and that’s the biggest disappointment of all.
