25:35 Also be aware of your joints. As a beginner I gained a lot of size and strength really quickly, but my joints and tendons didn’t adapt nearly as fast as my muscles, so I beat them up really bad and had to lay off of the weights for 2 months. For some people this won’t happen but for others it’s definitely possible.
@SparkFN7442 ай бұрын
After about a month of real hard training is when I noticed it, so in about that time frame just be aware of your tendons and joints. They can sometimes take weeks or months to get used to an increase in weight. Again. Some people this isn’t a problem but others it is.

Question: You open up this video by saying 3 bad days can undo a good week. What's your strat for, say, going on vacation where it may be harder to adhere to your macros and where lifting is on hold for several days? What's the longest you've gone without lifting or sticking to a diet due to some circumstance? How did it affect you?
@nmoney0002 ай бұрын
Personally I just try to not go insane the whole time. Vacation is a time for me to relax and I'm not gonna eat super healthy but I'll just not have crazy amounts of everything. Get a small ice cream, that sort of thing. Then after vacation I just get right back to it. Just have to know you might gain a couple pounds that week and push your goal back
@jeffreyandrews52542 ай бұрын

Great video, idk I do get tired after weeks of intense workouts, but if I hit the gym 6 days for 3 weeks straight, I’m fine with taking that 4th week „soft“ and taking 3-4 restdays and only working out every muscle once with low weights, that’s how I motivate myself, work hard 3 weeks and play hard / enjoy the 4th week 😄 but I really do het tired after some weeks of intense workouts, I usually go 2-3 hours but I do a lot of drop sets and therefore a lot of rest time between my sets, maybe I’m doing too much junk volume and that’s why I get tired after some weeks idk men life is hard

Some people like everyday all body stuff, some people like one day off a week for sure. The reality is probably more complex both from what is actually done vs what may be best. Probably everyday all body for a period of time is good to do some or train for especially. Periods off too here and there, the longer ones less frequent. Also weights used, intuitive feel. New exercises. For me it's been more developing being good at getting a deep workout for mass and not injuring at the same time. So I've fallen into a very particular way of working out. Yet things change over time and often improve in effectiveness. In some ways injury is the needed breaks the body forces you to do and to prevent greater possible damage. Other times injury is a mindset, but once you're injured rest and time off is called for.
