Savage Enviro400 kickdown w/ constant redlines! | €4 Ecomat, LK09EKR TE936

By far my favourite catch on the channel, and a lucky one too considering the last native PB Tridents are supposedly due to be withdrawn after the end of the Overground blockade! This keen driver gives most OMSI players’ driving a run for their money if you ask me, and that’s saying something. Had someone jaywalking not looked carefully enough this would’ve ended in tears, especially given the fact that some of this was filmed around Wembley where traffic was quite tight at the time. Nonetheless a good adrenaline rush, particularly at 8:19 where acceleration seemed quickest!

What a capture, I've never seen an E400 ragged around like this one was, also never actually seen one as quick as this seemed either. A shame its destined to be withdrawn as I'd daresay it puts most other vehicles in the fleet to shame. Also, constant redlines aren't usually an E400 trait so could the driver be holding the gears to extract extra performance from the ZF? That driver is super competent too which makes this a perfect combination. Great video, new subscriber right here 😊

I think this should be a ZF Ecolife gearbox, listen to the gear change of 2>3, if this was an Ecomat gearbox, there would be a larger change of rpm since the gear ratio for 2nd and 3rd gear's difference is larger for Ecomat. And also the gear change of 4>5, if this was an Ecomat gearbox, there would be a smaller change of rpm.
