I like it too. I actually have purchased several ikea pieces. I have some older desks I’m painting white and I too have purchased several antique pieces for storage. I’m redoing my craft room at the moment. I’ve been looking around to see if anyone else has combined the new modern with antique pieces? I purchased a small green setee and inherited a nice 50’s trunk from my grandma to use as a sofa table. I have a tv for the room I’m hoping will fit somewhere? I even bought the spice racks years ago to paint different colors. I have several storage items in various colors. I’m wondering if it’s too much or if I should go with one or two colors instead? I’m doing wall to wall shelves on two walls over my work space and in my closet space. I’ve purchased several craft storage cubes from Michael’s when they were on sale. I scored a huge picture frame from Hobby Lobby for nothing and I’m going to add pegboard to it. I think we all want pegboard. I have a typeset drawer too but was considering it for a drawer to store beads I make on my torch? Not sure? I have too many craft interests. Sewing, card making, mixed media, glass art, etc. I have a glass studio in my garage. I’m thinking about narrowing down my list?

I love love love your craft room. I love the feel of it. It makes me want to sit down and craft!! That is, of course, unless I’m staring out the window for hours at a time! Lol!! I love the combination of new and vintage items. I adore the basket from your grandfather and the table from your Dad. I covet the two peg boards that your husband and you made! The rainbow spice racks to store your TNs is genius!! What a great way to store them and be able to see them at the same time. The two vintage items from Lucketts are amazing finds and perfect for a craft room, and the case from Salvation Army is a great way to store your distress oxides!! The way you’ve stored your stencils is also genius!! It’s a great room and you’ve found amazing ways to maximize every inch! Thanks for sharing your beautiful, creative space with us!! ❤️

Lovely craft room! I especially love the vintage card file cabinets. I found something similar while thrifting awhile ago for my craft room, four - two drawer metal units, the drawers are twice the size. I painted them tiffany blue and stacked them one on top of the other and store fat quarters (fabric) in most and knitting needles in a few. Most of my paper products are stored in office filing cabinets (4 ft.) my husbands got for free from work. A Crafter can never have too many drawers!

I love your room, I wish mine looked as nice as yours but I have way to much stuff. And I laughed when you got to your 12X12 paper because You said that it can get out of hand so you have to be diligent and find a way to store it you were talking about your Felicity Jane stuff at the time and then you went to your other 12 x 12 I have one shelf in my book case filled with just colored card stock and then A 12 x 12 filing cabinet stuffed full of patterned paper plus more other places no matter how much I try to organize mine never looks like yours so I’m a little jealous but in a good way because your room is so beautiful I can see how you are so inspired all the time

Hi, just found your channel today and the craft room tour. I tried to scroll through the comments to find an answer to my fave parts questions but didn't see them.. so please add a note about the following items (mentioned by the time code in the video to help you find them). Where did you find: The Turquoise silicone bins @ 19:30, 20:50 Clear divided trays in drawer @ 20:30 White divided drawer organizer @ 20:33 and did you make the nice long white riser shelves for the paints on the peg board @25:21+ ? Thank you and God Bless!
@ScrappyWife4 жыл бұрын
The turquoise silicone bins were from Aldi a smaller grocery store chain but those are a few years old. The clear divided trays in the drawers can be found at Target. And the white divided drawer organizer is from IKEA. The long riser shelves are made from spare wood that was in my garage!

I am just starting over. I lost everything when I was evicted three years ago. You are a mom and a wife. I am 65 and alone. I appreciate how close to God you keep your ideas and creativity. I watch the Bible journaling videos but I cannot afford the kits or all the accessories. I finally moved into an apartment. I spent the last three years living in my car. I am in an apartment since October 2019. All the while I was homeless I kept a storage unit just so I could start making art again. I'm so glad I did that. I love the way I am organically and intuitively re-piecing my art life back together. I feel like I have'nt lost time creatively. Just supplies. Every month I buy more things. I work with what I have and it forces me to think outside of the box. I appreciate that everything you have organized has taken years to put together. It just gets better. You have pursued a different creative lifestyle than what I experience. It was enjoyable watching this video. I might just watch it again. Thank you for the inspiration.

Thank you so much for this. It is very helpful. Where did you get the clear plastic drawer set you have die cuts in?
@ScrappyWife4 жыл бұрын
You can find them on Amazon! Just search for clear acrylic drawers...

thanks for this inspiring tour of your craft 'store'! I store some of my stencils somewhat like you do. They are a little closer to my reach.

Thanks for sharing your craft room with us. Love all the variety you have. May I ask where you got your desk chair? I’m on the hunt for a smaller white chair for my room. If you mentioned it, I apologize I may have missed it. Thanks again!!

Your craft room is beautiful!I was wondering how do you store/organise your mica powder/embossing powder that come in packets rather than containers?
@ScrappyWife4 жыл бұрын
I actually don't have more than 10, so they just live in a small bin inside a drawer.

@@ScrappyWife Thanks so much for replying! I appreciate you taking the time to answer. I don't currently have many mica powders myself but have ordered a box of them so don't think your system would work well for me. But thank you so much anyway, if you think of any way to organise mica's that come in packets (or other art materials in similar packaging) I would very much appreciate knowing. (p.s. I love your channel and think your fab! )

Where did you get the lights you use for filming? The rectangular ones? And also the stand you use for your phone?

All are from Amazon! I’ll try to add those links to the info!

This is great! I don’t think my craft room will EVER be this tidy. Lol I’m a messy crafter and if I stay this organized I’d be afraid to “make a mess” lol
@ScrappyWife5 жыл бұрын
I get pretty messy too! But, since everything has a place, cleaning up isn’t too hard 💕
