Screw the weather! Bloody Bay it is... - Sailing Vessel Delos Ep. 209

Amidst a flooding river of outgoing logs and full on trees we decide to anchor Delos in Bloody Bay- Tobago, or rather because of the torrential weather better known as Muddy bay! After winding Delos through the debris field we find a decent anchorage and it's time to begin exploring the scene in this less traveled part of the world.
We soon find out about the Blue Food Festival, which is dedicated to making everything imaginable out of the local Dasheen fruit which turns blue when you cook it. We are somewhat impressed... But not really so we decide to set sail to the East coast of Tobago to begin our diving expedition. On the way we are hailed by a dive boat, we think we’re busted and they’re gonna kick us out of the area but it turns out to be chartered by a fantastic group of Canadian divers that buy us a bunch of beers and take us out on their sweet dive boat for a spectacular night dive. YESSS! Delos Tribe comes through for the win :)

I have watch 1000s of feet of UW films and many 1000s of minutes of digital UW recordings and hours and hours of YT VIDEOS. None come close to this master piece of video. It has everything to make it complete. Difficulty with sailing with the wet and smelly, visiting native population, sailing and anchoring the boat, surprise visits, and of course the most beautiful under water scenery. Not to mention the excellent editing. You are producing videos better than Cousteau. Your videos are far and away the best. Thanks for sharing!!!

My wife and I just watched this video again. So nice to see such healthy reefs. Those are fantastic dives with such an abundance of life. Thanks for sharing it all with us. I think your squid are actually "cuttle fish." Close relative to squid and an amazing critter able to dilate cells with pigment to change colors and camouflage. And sometimes waves of changing color to confuse prey. Such a cool animal.

I am loving all the Delos videos, I am newly disabled and have busted my but for the last 40 25 years of my life constantly working with hardly anything to show at 40 for it all. Still renting a house still driving a 93 chevy s10 with two beautiful kids. But my only regret is not living like you all do while i could of. I am now unable to get out much until they finish figuring out whats wrong with me (which is alot of testing going on) but thanks for the videos bc im now living through these. ive watched 5 seasons in like 4 days and am continuing all the way through till i get caught up. LOVE IT
