What should be the thickness of Tava.... Please tell in millimeter..... you said you used indolium Tava but can we use iron Tava... please tell what to do so that dosa does not stick to Tava. Should tava should be completely flat or should be slightly concave in the middle?
@Deepskitchen1BlogspotSg3 ай бұрын

One of the reasons for this could be the tawa is too hot.U sprikle some water on tawa or wipe with wet cloth.This might work.
@saurabhmishra857 жыл бұрын
we were facing the same problem. the fault was we were putting oil on the non stick tawa before putting the batter. the trick is wipe the tawa clean, no oil, and then spread the batter. it spreads like a dream

@Deepskitchen1BlogspotSg9 жыл бұрын
yeah...white lentil.... if u use brown or red lentil , the colour of ur idli wont be white...probably in brown or red.....also urad dal is the main ingredient helps to give puffed idlies with soft texture....i have never tried with other lentils...when there is no availability u may try with red or brown...but result might vary....just try with little quantity...and see how it is.. is it possible to buy online in your country ??? may i knw which country u r in ???

So what's the big deal if foreigners order dosa and why does it have to be mentioned? Does the approval of "foreigners" make Indian cuisine more legitimate than it is? If it is not approved by them, we are doing something wrong? We still carry a slave mentality, especially when the skin color is white.
@Deepskitchen1BlogspotSg9 жыл бұрын
foreigner means not only white people also includes anyone who comes from another country from all over the world...it could be black ,brown or white....hope I am not wrong...thanks for writing... hope u r clear now....☺
@majidiqbal29368 жыл бұрын
+Deeps kitchen In the context of real dosa, "foreigner" could also mean someone from Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, or Rajasthan who may not have any clue what a real dosa is because of the "paper dosa" they are served in fake "Madrasi" restaurant. There is only one place in the world that knows how to make the real deal: Bengaluru formerly known as Bangalore
