Like the professional section title transitions. Never thought of using ooze bombs, awesome idea. Bile bombs would be bad, as they would destroy the wall, too. But I never saw you using the spear, but I can kinda see it situationally.

Also, I've found while still farming my gear, the iron hammer came in very handy, you can even hit enemies through walls and just wail on them from the other side and they can't hit you.

I have found that sailing around the larger mistlands islands, I can always find dungeons that are not in the mist. This has two advantages, one obviously being no mist, but also having my boat close by. Once I find the dungeon, I park near by but far enough away that my boat doesn't get attacked. In the boat I keep extral arrows and ooze bombs. I find that the mistlands shores being rocky have a habit of bashing my boat, so I park it far enough away that it doesn't hit the rocks, but close enough for an easy swim. I then clear the outside and grab any yggdrasil wood and magecaps.

Note -- 2h hammer (stag, iron and demolisher) make dungeons a joke. So what you do is hide behid a wall where mobs cant see you (dont stand infront of vines) and then you just smash ground. This breakes AI and they will have a hard time getting to you (not to mention it saves bombs) New crossbow is also very good to take out flying seekers due to high penetration. It takes while to get used to it, but what you do is find a ground where you can walk on easy and simply move back when reloading and A D strafe for mobs to miss you at walk speed. Also, take 2 iron with you into mistlands so you can demolish buildings faster to get new stone and other materials (like lamps, jute, copper). If you destroy walls araund, game has some issue still with slowly demolishing building from air.
@paulkocherhans6082 жыл бұрын
That issue with the buildings not crumbling is usually those massive wooden beams, they count as terrain, and you can't destroy them with the build hammer, so you have to shoot them, or smash them directly, but once you take those out, the buildings collapse like any other 👍

I don't know, even though I go through these dungeons like an absolute coward, I still died more often than with any other area in the game inlcuding Deathsquitos. Regardless of whether I used Frostner, Porcupine or Blackmetal Sword (all maxed), it still took so long to kill even one of them and unfortunately you get swarmed so easily because of it. I can't tell you how often I got instakilled while in fight because a 1star seeker came from behind with an aerial attack or how often I had to run out, back in and cheese at the entrance. As soon as you have your cores and therefore new weapons, it becomes much easier but oh man up until that point, the mistlands handed me my a** on a daily basis. It's like the devs thought "hey, we can't have our players have all skills maxed anymore so let's make them die A LOT more" :D

I went into ML with a black metal round shield but switched to the black metal tower shield for a while because I was getting tired of the seeker soldiers knock back when blocking and losing out on a parry combo trying to run back up to them. Once I was able to make a Carapice shield i switched to that because the tower shield having no parry and being to slow on movement speed even with 100 run stat was becoming even more annoying than what had made me switch to it in the first place.

Sorry not related to video topic, I've been using an auto farm with bow skeletons and a greydwarf spawner (basically build a hit to rest in, make sure you only have a fire to prevent raids) Dig pit around spawner, make sure you build something to prevent skellies from having line of sight to the spawner itself, and have the skellies above the pit It's very nearly afk-able, every once in awhile a skelly dies to thrown rocks, or gets pushed in, but it's an idea for a farming tutorial if you want to make one, gets you wood and stone (as all greydwarf farms do) but this also gets you blood magic fairly quickly, I took my skill from 22-47 in the space of a few hours AFK
