Seima Support - Adjust push buttons to stop toilet leaking and ensure correct flush

A common problem with toilets is water leaking slowly into the pan. This can be caused by several problems.
One potential reason for a slow leak is incorrectly adjusted push buttons at time of installation, or the button plungers may have moved over time
Properly adjusted push buttons ensure correct flushing operation, and stop slow leak into the pan.
It is important that the push button has a few millimetres of play, if there is no play, it may cause a slow leak; if too loose the toilet may not engage the full flush when the button is pressed.

How about the silver ring on the top of tank cover surrounding the flush buttons? The plumbers who initially installed this toilet and recently reset it after a thorough snaking out of the system have not addressed this issue. BTW, thank you for the explanation on how to adjust the rods to insure a proper flush 👍🏻🚽.

I have the opposite problem. both rods are equal in length. The left side is for solids and I am getting a lot of clogs. If I push the button on the left inside the tank it has a stronger flush. Should I extend the length of this rod to get the stronger flush?

I turned mine over to put stuff in the tank and the buttons fell out and won't go back in! I can't figure out why they won't just set back in.

My one side push button auto lowers while we don't use toilet emptying whole roof tank.
