@@michaelgoldman2869yes this can help someone with Parkinson's, but you may have to make modifications at first based on your baseline level of strength and balance.

I'm only 68 but on a lot of meds that cause me to lose my balance constantly, make me dizzy and I fall a lot. Stairs really scare me. Thank you so much.
@More4Life6 ай бұрын
You're welcome. Yes, more than 4 medications actually increases fall risk because there is a greater risk of drug-to-drug interaction.

Sems a bit too hard on the hip side I've had replaced ~10 months ago.

You might try starting from 1:03 and practice standing on one leg and progressing from there. Not everyone will be able to do all the steps their first time around. Start with what you're able to do and progress as you improve.

I have size 13 feet so I don’t even try to not use support regardless of my step down strength and flexibility. Hit the end of that step with a little slip and it’s not good.

ABSOLUTELY not...ALWAYS hold on.
@More4Life6 ай бұрын
I would agree with you that when that is an option, holding on is the best idea. This video is more for the case when you're carrying something and don't have hands available, or stepping down a curb where there's nothing to hold on to.
