Hi Loretta. Welcome to my channel!! So excited that you are enjoying the content. For hot meals, I find it very helpful to use a warming tray/hot plate. I cook on Thursday’s for Shabbat as well. Right before Shabbat begins I warm everything up and place all of my prepared meals on to the hot plate. Hope this helps.

I don't know if you ever made it or heard of it. In Croatia we make "noodles" out of one egg and wheat polenta. I assume you heard about and used corn polenta. Well, for these you beat an egg and add wheat polenta and a pinch of salt until you get a paste, not too runny and not to firm, you leave it for 20 minutes. When your soup is done, you drain it, an put it back on the stove, when it starts boiling again, take, with a teaspoon, smal half teaspoon segments of the paste and put them in the soup, it should drop as soon as you submerge your spoon in the boiling soup, repeat until you use up all the paste. Cook until soft and serve with the hot soup and veggies and meat. I'm sorry I can't put a picture here, it's very delicious.

That sounds so delicious. 😋

I am not Jewish but love to watch cooking and meal prep videos. I have only very basic knowledge about Shabbat, so you pre-cook everything from Wednesday to Friday, so that you don't have to cook anymore on Saturday? How long is Shabbat exactly and how do you spend it? Sorry for my lack of knowledge, I am curious though and if you just google it, then you find so much information that you get overwhelmed ..
