I may have seen The Mad Ghoul on a horror Friday night on TV back in the 50s or 60s, but I only have a vague memory. This is now on my list! Thank you for finding some films I have not seen. I can hardly believe I missed them.

I'm enjoying this countdown, Dr. Gangrene. I have and idea for the 2025 October countdown, combine the golden age of horror films of the 1920s, 1930s and the 1940s for the best of 31 days calling it Horror's Golden Age countdown.

Robert Armstrong from King Kong 1933 is also in this . Good movie George Zucco always played a great mad scientist.

George Zucco is my personal favorite character actor from these films. Just the right mixture of gentlemanly quiet composer masking a truly demented motivation. The definition of 'Mad Scientist'. He and Atwill cornered the market on these type of characters. Da' Man.

George was probably the best actor to play Professor Moriarty opposite Basil Rathbone as Holmes in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1939).

I LOVE this film The Mad Ghoul one of my VERY favorites I give it 5 Skulls, but I would give most of Universal's horror/ mysteries 5 Skulls or more confession of an old lady when I was a pre-teen in 1960's I had a little crush on one actor in this movie Turhan Bey, I just hope Victor Mature never finds out😆😆 looking forward to tomorrow
