Today is officially day 1 of quitting vaping. I started reducing use 4 days ago to hopefully lessen the blow. Ive been listening to your videos one after the other for about 2 hours now and i drowned my vape an hour ago without taking a last hit. Idk why but having a running loop of positivity toward quitting is helping right now so thank you for making all of the videos you've made. I just keep thinking that even just one more teeny tiny hit is just starting all over.

I have never smoked cigarettes in my life and I was dumb enough to try vaping at the age of 35 to mingle at social events while others smoked (I live in France away from family and everyone smokes here, but it was my own dumb decision) !!! And it was all downhill from there. My best features as a girl were my hair, skin and teeth and vaping destroyed all that. For me it was the following improvements even 24 hours after quitting vaping: - Skin improved massively. Never had acne ever but due to vaping I had some spots which would last months, a week after quitting vaping all was clear and soft hydrated smooth skin and not oily. Also wounds heal a lot faster after quitting. - Hairloss stopped completely. I can vouch for this with my life as I have tested it several times. As soon as I quit vaping, hairloss stops and hair quality changes drastically. - This one is tough cause it's a non-reversible damage which is receding gums !! And there is no cure or surgery for it sadly. Vaping ruins your gums and there is no going back, even if you vape with 0 nicotine juice. Big Pharma has signed an agreement with the nicotine giants not to warn you about this. Trust me your gums pay the ultimate price in regard to nicotine products and e-juices. - Initially you will crave sugar but after all the bloating will fade, and you feel fitter and lose weight easier by exercising - Deep sweet sleep is the best part specially if you start running - Back and shoulder pain gone. Nicotine has a devastating effect on your spine and can damage it permanently - Eyes are no longer foggy !! - CLEAN TONGUE !! You spend a lot less time and toothpaste brushing all that gunk away !! Hence better breath and food taste much better. - Clearer nails specially toenails !! Won't have to cover the nicotine damage with nail-polish. To get the toxins out of your feet, soak them in warm water and some epsom salt for half an hour. - Taking showers are a lot more enjoyable cause now your insides are as clean as your outside and you will feel this after every shower - Drinking water is a lot more enjoyable - Too many more to list, this shit effects every part of your body and what I have mentioned above is just the external parts, imagine what it does to your insides as the body is fighting to repair internal organs, our exterior is neglected hence the bad hair, skin, teeth, etc...

I've only smoked cigarettes and vaped, never anything else no drugs, alcohol etc, only nicotine addiction I've had.

Day 5 right now, only having struggles with focusing on tasks, motivation and my mood a little. Hoping that I can get through this rough patch, but it has over all not been that hard due to using 1 6mg zyn a day for a week and then every other day for a week before quitting cold Turkey. I was able to break my habits with vaping by zyning and I feel like at this point i'm just quitting nicotine and not vapes. I've had a lot of temptations around me, but I have surprised even myself with the amount of self control I really have. I do not see an end to this attempt. hoping to feel a little more normal though so I can get on with life.

Füm or Capnos? Are either of these products worth it to help quit vaping? We don’t have products like this in the UK, so postage takes a while. I’ve just ordered a Füm and only just found out about Capnos. I gave up smoking 10 years ago, but after about 5 years I had one cigarette when having a drink with friends, then discovered vaping. I managed to quit vaping for a year, but took it up again and my partner smokes and vapes. I can’t convince her to quit, but I want to. For good this time. Any evidence of these essential oil products causing harm? Or is it a case of too soon to tell?
@flmoseley81413 жыл бұрын
I smoked for 25 years till I was on the verge of copd and coughing constantly. I switched to vaping 12 years ago and breathing eventually went back to normal and coughing and bronchitis became things of the past. As far as longevity I'm 65 now and the odds are in favor of me making it at least another 10 years which would be around the avg life span of a male these days. I'm healthy not anxious I sleep well and retired now enjoying the fruits of my labor. This is a true to life story not the tortured existence you painted in this video. I am a vaper and will continue to do so. Cigarettes are dangerous because of what is in cigarettes not because of nicotine. Yes nicotine is a stimulant but just about everything we put in our bodies act as a stimulant. If you want to take up the cause of improving American lives I'd start with lack of exercise and the american diet first because those 2 factors kill far more people than vaping could even come close to. Yes you are definitely allergic to something in the juice. I doubt it was nicotine since you previously smoked. Not smoking or vaping is the way to go. Congratulations on breaking the habit. Nicotine addiction is certainly a self induced curse.
@AddictionMindset3 жыл бұрын
Hey hey!! I agree with everything you said..... but many people still want to quit vaping, for some it’s a big issue. As for quitting the cigs with vapes that’s awesome. No question it’s harm reduction at it’s finest. But for many of my viewers they never smoked cigs..... hence the video. Some people want a life without nicotine, some don’t, and that’s ok but I am here for both parties!
@flmoseley81413 жыл бұрын
@@AddictionMindset there is zero doubt that not vaping is better for a person than vaping obviously. The problem I have with this anti vaping campaign is there are forces within our own government who are being given money or would make money by banning vaping. Whether that money is coming from big tobacco or government leaders simply trying to steer vapers over to cigarettes for the tax revenue I dont know but its certainly not because they are concerned for any vapers health. Vaping is saving lives for those people who havent been successful in quitting smoking. For those who want to target the young people who were never cigarette smokers then it should be made plain that's what they are doing while also adding that vaping is there only for those that who smoke as a much safer alternative. What's happening is a cigarette smoker whose thinking about trying vaping may be scared off by these videos and just keep smoking cigs till they die and that's shameful.
@stupidmonkey1513 жыл бұрын
I vaped for around 7 years. I started as a non-smoker, around 16 years of age. I recently went good turkey. I quit about 4 weeks ago. I vaped 35mg liquid from a TFV8 Baby beast for at least one year straight before I quit. The main reason I decided to quit was my elevated heart rate. I've had tachycardia since I was in highschool and I believe it was entirely due to my nicotine intake. My resting heart rate would often be 90bpm+. Since quitting, I've noticed a significant drop to around 72bpm on average. Surprisingly, I don't FEEL much better, but the much improved heart rate is more than enough to justify my decision to quit. I agree that vaping is a much safer alternative to smoking, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't strive to stop it all. The idea to inhaling any impurities for recreation is unhealthy and completely unnecessary.
@flmoseley81413 жыл бұрын
@@stupidmonkey151 not vaping is 100% better than vaping. No one can dispute that fact. Congrats on quitting. You may be just overly sensitive to nicotine. For some in your condition caffeine may have a similar effect. Every case is different. My resting heart rate stays between 60 and 70 no matter how much I vape.
@stupidmonkey1513 жыл бұрын
@@flmoseley8141 The elevated heart rate may also be from the large amount of nicotine I was intaking. Who knows. I'd like to also add that we don't yet know the long term effects of vaping. You won't have withdrawals all over again just from one hit you could probably hit it three or four times maybe more and not go through the full withdrawal that you already went through because your body was used to it over time that was very short-lived it didn't have enough time to sit in your system when you hit it just a couple times. Good luck!

I'm sorry to tell you this but 1 hit = all hits. If we start rationalizing one hit as different from all hits, we go back to addiction in the end. One hit will lead to the same withdrawal because your feeding the same receptors. A little feeding is still feeding the craving.
