Fun fact: in his original fairy tale, Puss in Boots did actually slay an ogre, so the way he was introduced as the only hitman for hire willing to handle an ogre was a very clever callback.

Did you watch the very end? Where donkey was singing alone when dragon flies in with baby dragon/donkeys? She was pregnant when donkey said she was being moody at the beginning. He didn't know she was pregnant.

I really enjoyed watching Shrek 2 with you guys as this brought back so many childhood memories back👍🔥. I loved the movie/Disney, fairy tale references like the Lord of the Rings ring scene, the Spider-Man kiss, Ariel reference in the ocean scene and Little Red Riding Hood reference etc😂👏. The jokes were great in this one. I enjoyed the final sequence where Fairy Godmother sings “I Need a Hero” as Jennifer Saunders did a great job with her character. Puss in Boots is my favorite character as Antonio Banderas did a fantastic job playing this character. Hopefully you guys react to Shrek 3 which is not the best but is good in it’s own way so I’ll be really looking forward to that😁. Loved your reaction/analysis, take care, enjoy life, stay healthy and have a good one❤️

Here's how I rank the Shrek movies: Shrek 2 is the best, then Shrek 4, Shrek 3, & Shrek 1 is the worst. I know a lot of people like 1 more than 3, but Shrek came off as too unlikable for most of the 1st film & Lord Farquad wasn't as great as a villain compared to the others.

lol no/ Yaa shrek being unlikable was perfect character developement. It’s called as arc. He started off grouchy and unlikable because everyone treated him like crap and like an ogre but he slowely showed he wasn’t that bad and had deeper layers (the onion analogy he brings up) and becomes a better person in the end.
