It’s really just the most cost effective. If you could find any ammo that’s comparable in price I’m sure people would be on board, but some people will only use that cheap Russian stuff in AKs.

I'm in of all places the extreme left coast and seem to be able to find what I need. as of this coming year, no more Internet sales allowed here. for now there's some good deals on Midwest, Cheaper than dirt, Nanchez etc... We will also have to pay for a permit and have BG checks done on any and every purchase. I just orders a bunch of different types of ammo so as to not have to deal with that . we will then move to a free state. I just use silicone packs in metal ammo cans. any other suggestions for keeping it dry? thanks for the video.

that is a really good head start for the shotgun ammo invest in a 12 gauge slug mold I buy the Walmart Target 12 gauge shotshells cut off the lip of the cartridge dump out the bbs melting down cast them into slug and put them back in the same cartridge. it definitely saved a lot of money slug ammunition I also do it for my 16 gauge 20 gauge and 410 also purchase 18 cavity Buckshot mold have fun keep up the good work

I shot a about 250 rounds of it through my Panther DPMS AR-15 last time on the "range" (my buddy's back yard) and I only had one fouled round. The rest shot just fine. Also, it wasn't any dirtier than anything else I've shot. I'm still not sure I'd take it into "battle", but for training purposes, I would recommend it, especially since it's usually some of the the least expensive ammo. A lot of guys say they NEVER use it for any reason, but my experience has been good so far.
@Twitchy23911 жыл бұрын
Have you fired any of the Steel Tulammo through your rifle? if not, I would recommend trying it since Tul is known to have some issues in AR15 style rifles...

for the price spent on all of this you could have gotten a single stage and a progressive press and enough bulk components and dies to lode a shit ton of ammo. the progressive presses will pump out like 500 rounds an hour if you keep them fed! I just want to know are YOU buying all this ammo yourself and if so what job do you have because i want it!

Ammo is plenty. Great video, great stash. Just go slow bro. For YEARS each time I went to Wally I would ouch up a Tula 7.62 (cabk then they were 3.98) and 2 cci 22 (5.98 each), it added up quickly, after Obama I upgraded the 22 to the federal 550 valpacks, now that they are like the holy grail, I'm sitting pretty.

You can fit a little more than 1,000rds of loose rifle ammo in the 50 cal cans if you take them out of their individual packaging boxes, and you can fit around 1,500 of loose handgun ammo. A little space saver tip for when you start stashing bulk ammo.

I dont understand 22lr why does everyone horde it? I have a stockpile for shooting and hunting squirrels but never SHTF. I mean it isnt reloadble to the average person and is not really a self defense round compared to any other handgun. Am i missing something? in a complete shutdown are we going to be doing alot of squirrel hunting and i worry since i had the thunderbolt rem rounds and about 5 out of every 50 didnt fire of course it also had a coyote get away because of rem 270 round that failed to fire which is what lead me to reload my own.

also, if you really believe you may ever need this for a wrol situation then remember you need mags. there was some prediction awhile back that most rounds in a true ride or die time will be fired in the first few days/hours. can have all the ammo in the world but its next to useless without mags....I have like 25 steel ak mags, another dozen polys and a couple dums plus I have atleast 1k yugo brass x39mm rounds on stripper clips ready for my sks's or aks.

@Irishrebel09210 жыл бұрын
@xekul that probably just means your gun doesn't like the ammo. 9 times out of 10, its a problem with the gun, not the ammo. some guns just won't take steel ammo, while others are better off with it. some guns only like hot rounds, while others need lighter loads. it just comes down to the guns fitting and function

This is why you all should be getting out to Walmart at least twice a week. Last Sunday in the mourning they had 4 1,000 boxes of m-22 priced at $47.00 per. I bout two and my wife bought the other two. We had no .22 that's the only reason we bought it all. If you want that ammo you have to go take it. Another gun ban non sense happens you'll be buying from a guy like this and you'll pay dearly. Stock up ammo...buy once cry once.

Watch out for that Tula shit at 6:04... that is the only 7.62x39 ammo that has ever given my AK a major failure. The tolerances and quality control on those rounds are crap. I had a round that did not seat all the way into the chamber - result was the round went off and the empty casing split and stuck in the chamber. The extractor claw tore a chunk of the rim off the casing but that fucker was stuck in there, with about 2mm sticking out of the chamber. To get the damn thing extracted, I had to bang it out by running a cleaning rod down the barrel and hitting it with a hammer. This was not a "stove pipe" failure to extract or a failure that could be cleared in the field. It was the kind of shit that could easily have cracked the chamber.

I think...notice I started with I think《《《 if you live in a city having a get the hell out of there stash is a good start! But likely that'll be on foot. All the citiots (made up word) will be trying to leave and will be stuck in traffic too! I think again lol having a pack with a sidearm small caliber 22wmr to 45acp and a long term survival rifle of anything 30 cal would be best where I live. But I can get to the mountains in five minutes and never be seen again. A 12 gauge would be a great addition to haul till one gets out of a city situation but too much to pack after that situation, even though the grizzly stopping power is phenomenal! Unless one field loads and packs minimal gear making the 12 gauge one of the easier loads to re load in the field!
