He’s been a legend from the very beginning of his career and he will be in the HHOF one day! I went to the last 2 games at the Igloo in 2010. I grew up a Pens fan, later switched to Carolina because back to back Cups really brought out some people who made it no longer fun to cheer for them, and it felt like a pilgrimage. I still have the metal tickets they gave out to everyone in attendance commemorating the final game in the regular season at the Igloo. PNC Arena is awesome, especially in the playoffs, but the Igloo will forever be the greatest arena I've ever been to.

I remember watching Oceanic ( QJMHL ) games just to see Sid the Kid ( although most people would call him "The Next One" back then ). He was dominating. I've never seen one player carrying his team like he did. He could do it all. One of his most underestimated abilities is his sheer strength. Even in his rookie CHL year, Sidney had stronger legs than veteran CHL players. He was extremely strong. Everyone who saw him play back then just knew he was going to be as dominating in the NHL.
