I GUESS HE STUDIED PROPAGANDA AS A UNIT BECAUSE 95% OF WHAT HE SAID HAS TURNED OUT FALSE. WONT BE SUPRISED INCASE HE SAYS UKRAINIAN SOLDIERS WILL HAVE REACHED MOSCOW BY DECEMBER 😅

@@lawrencemusana8425 An amusing comment from a Russian bot. 2 years ago the war was only 6 months old. So naturally some of his analysis was incorrect. The Russians have been wrong about everything. We have been wrong by underestimating the Ukrainians. Gen. Hodges has admitted that numerous times. The Russians underestimated them too.

We bigger secure countries need to take off the blinders, and see the reality of countries who are focus of Russian ambitions. They’re all smaller, vulnerable - look as far as Africa and South America.

In June 2022 he said that Russia would run out of missiles in about 6 weeks. I remember distinctly since we share a surname. The Kursk offensive is a stupid sideshow. It will gain Ukraine nothing and lose them much ground in the Donbass that they will not be able to recover.

Thank you Johnathan and general Hodges for this interesting podcast. I am always wondering about what would happen in the event of Ukraine losing badly. Would all the wonderful Ukrainian weaponry and innovations fall into the hands of Russia? And if so, do our western leaders realize the consequences for us if that should happen. Should this not be stressed more then? There are often podcasts about what would happen if Putin should fall. It would really be interesting to know the scenarios should Ukraine falls. Heaven forbid though!

@ about 7:04 Gen Hodges mentioned the destruction of he Crimea ferry. It should be mentioned that it was one of the last train ferries capable of carrying 30 loaded tanker rail cars. That is a substantial strike and loss to the Russians in terms of supplying sufficient fuel and munitions to the Crimea occupiers....trucks cannot not replace this loss without long convoys from elslewhere. Tactical and strategic win. Edited for spelling.

True to some extent from my observations having been across Russia. Life in Moscow and St Petersburg seems satisfactory and poor version of a European country while remaining very controlled and surveilled. In the rural areas, many folk face a subsistence living and appear accustomed to hardship compensated by religious devotion. Years back, I saw an interview, where Putin said the Russian Church creates cohesion as a substitute for rule in the Tsarist era. Political pressure won’t come from the rural areas. Those populations will just suck-up hardships. Populations in Moscow and St Petersburg might protest if feeling threaten, but unlikely to riot, as Putin will recall and have taken precautions against 1917 styled uprisings. To place further pressure on Oligarchs, more sanctions and travel restrictions on oligarchs and elites, and their families. Expatriate elites’ families from the West, back to Russia. Say Russia’s USD 600 billion held by the West is conditionally “subject” to confiscation in part or in total, if certain redlines are crossed, e.g., the use certain weapons. Peter. S. Ph.D.
