I literally started this challenge a few weeks ago lol. Instead of using normal Nuzlocke rules for the beginning section (since I'm playing on a real DS and it would be super time consuming to restart if I didn't get a good Unown) I caught a Pidgey and just encountered Unowns until I got one with a Hidden Power type that was super effective against my Pidgey, then caught that, and started from there. I figured it would likely be virtually impossible to beat Falkner without a Super Effective move unless we got crazy good RNG in the battle.

Good video! Here's a tip for future HGSS playthroughs: You can get Charge Beam in the Department Store lotto depending on the day, which can let you score Charge Beam. This is huge for a Pokemon like Kadabra, who can set up on Whitney's Clefairy and oneshot or twoshot Miltank as long as you don't get screwed over by the lack of boosts. By grinding the Game Corner for Substitute, you can fix the twoshot issue, as you have the Sub to block the first hit. I've swept Whitney in several Nuzlockes with this strat!

Assuming you're using the actual game (and not...*ahem* the """computer version"""), you could allegedly save Reclaimer using Pokemon Black/White to pull it from SoulSilver, then put it in the Pokemon Bank (and thus, transfer it to Pokemon Home) from there. I don't know this first hand, but that's the purpose of Bank/Home - to transfer pokemon from older games to the newer ones. ...and maybe make a profit.
