It all looks sooo good, and this is only one of three! You're making me nostalgic for the US and Thanksgivings of my youth. What I miss the most are cranberry sauce made from fresh cranberries and pumpkin pie, which you probably won't be making. If you think you're lacking ingredients in Canada, well there's no Thanksgiving in Italy, no Tofurkey (that's ok), no apple and sage sausage, no Amy's, etc., etc. I will live vicariously through your videos. Sigh 🙂

Hey, just wanted to say I made the stuffing and gravy today for Thanksgiving and both came out absolutely delicious! The gravy I followed to the T but the stuffing I tweaked a little... I increased the amount of sage, thyme and rosemary for some extra flavor (I used 6 cups of bread). I used 1.5 apples, 4 sausage links (instead of 2), ½ cup of pecans and just a bit more celery too. Basically I made a bigger batch to serve 6 people instead of 4. It tasted amazing! Will def do it again next year. Thanks Derek! :-)
@kristineteichroeb11404 жыл бұрын
I made the stuffing and everyone loved it! We didn’t have any leftovers. I used sour dough bread and next time will use a whole grain as it was a bit chewy. Thanks for the recipes. Love your videos!!

Hey guys!... Thanks so much for sharing! Absolutely going to try the stuffing recipe. Fyi...the garlic cloves you were showing us are, elephant garlic. And since you both love to garden now is the time to plant garlic. Use one clove with the skin on and plant about 4 inches deep. Cover with a bed of leaves or straw and they will arrive next spring. At the end of summer august/Sept they are ready to harvest. Their plumes are beautiful, and can be dried and preserved. One clove = a bulb of garlic... Good luck and Happy Fall. 🦃🍛🎃
