Please, make sure you are waiting 20min after drinking, to start your meals!! Esp if you have gastritis. (Also check out Barbara o'niel). I don't have this condition, (my partner does) and ayurvedic methods of pre- and post digestive aids work for him too. (fresh ginger turmeric in lime juice, salt), chew toasted fennel seeds afterwards. I'd say stick with lime juice in general, but consult a practitioner first of course! Every body is different

Acv had malic acid in it which I think is the most useful for the liver/ gallstones. Also, the sugar wouldn't be the most problematic thing in balsamic vinegar. In fact there's nothing wrong with balancing out acidity with a bit of sweetness. All tastes have effects on our health and too much plain acidity or bitterness will not be good for everyone's health.

What about Apple cider Vinegar eroding your teeth if you do it regularly? I saw this ... Apple cider vinegar has a pH level of around 3, making it highly acidic. The environment within the mouth only needs to be at pH 5.5 for enamel to begin dissolving. Therefore exposing teeth to an acidic pH level of 3 daily is detrimental to your tooth enamel. Within weeks, the enamel can become significantly eroded
