One my favorite SNL moments is still Norm MacDonald on Weekend Update, when he cracked a joke about women being bad at math, and pointed out a woman wrote that joke, and the audience still gave him that OOOOHHHH hissy bullshit. And then he's like "Nah I'm just kidding we don't hire women here" with that spot on dry delivery and instantly wins back the crowd. I don't know how the fuck he does it. Whenever I tell an offensive joke and get an awkward silence, and then exaggerate it to try and show I was being facetious, everyone instead drags me outside and beats me savagely with sticks. Every time.

I disagree with Zach on the credit score car situation. If you can buy a car in full definitely do that so you avoid being in debt. Instead take out small loans and pay them off to build credit. An example would be taking out a 500 dollar loan to buy a new tv and then paying that loan off. Don't put yourself in debt just to build credit. I'll crawl back in my hole now
@greekfire9954 жыл бұрын
The debt is a consequence of needing things that are too expensive to pay in full all at once (car, house, etc.); it is typically not taken on just to have it. It is perfectly fine to have if you are in a position to be able to pay it off without breaking the bank, because of the positive effect having the debt has on your credit. I know this was 4 years ago; I just thought it was an interesting disagreement and just wanted to put my 2 cents in.
@Kainraa4 жыл бұрын
@@greekfire995 Most people are definitely not in debt by choice you're right there. If you can afford the payments and it's not a hassle then go for it. I just thought it was interesting that Zach was able to buy a car in full but then regretted doing so, when to me that's a great situation to be in. Personally I think having no debt is better, even if you can afford it, but I understand how building credit can be more valuable to others. Also Jesus it's been four years? God damn. At least it's cool to see people still tuning in to the podcast after all this time.

Don't listen to the part about having credit. It's infinitely better to pay cash for things, rather than making payments. Make very small purchases with credit cards and pay it off immediately if you want to build your credit, but don't use credit as a tool to build wealth. It's not a good idea.

Tuschi Just like Shovel Knight... Or Skullgirls.. Right? ... Those two are good examples of what to do when in a kickstarter. Mighty 9 is the opposite

What they're saying around 40:00 is very true. When you find comedy in a horrible subject, like 9/11, you basically create a shield for that stupid-ass concept known as "triggers." Having "triggers" that don't send you into fits or seizures is stupid. You're limiting free speech by making topics taboo to talk about. When you open up yourself to joke about yourself, or things that are close to you, and be a little self-deprecating, I feel you can be a happier person overall.

Interesting to hear you guys talk about your introverted tendencies. Personally, even 2 hours is way too long for me at parties.

Talking about KZbinrs who made it big, and still are, The Lonely Island. They're in the middle of producing their own movie.
