An old man, sort of little person flips out on a young guy playing his trumpet in the village in Manhattan and tells him that he sucks and he's not a real artist. Douglas Levinson trumpet fight.

Judging people by their looks is just cruel. Looks are subjective anyway but it's still cruel and wrong to judge others by what they can't change. This person's behaviour, in this video, is wrong. But their appearance has nothing to do with that.

That's funny. I get it, and understand your curiosity. If I had to distill it in the most succinct way possible, I was using this angry little person as the physical embodiment of self doubt, or that little voice in all of our heads that contaminates us with the idea that we're not good enough. His anger seemed surreal to me, so the visual of him crawling out of my ear was my way of rationalizing that. I agree. Not enough people can see it through the lens of another these days.. he sounds bitter and angry at life, maybe there was a death, maybe he lost everything or was humiliated. Whatever the reason, it doesnt make it right, but the trumpet player handled it well but not responding. I think not responding spreads a little compassion by not adding on to the fire, very difficult to do but maybe he values his life and happiness, considers the consequences, and understands that not everyone, no matter how successful they might be, are happy.
