Can't wait for your IAT video. I've logged one of these kits (original 8002) with a mates Ford Falcon 4lt turbo (Australian Ford inline 6cyl, aka Barra) engine and with 30° celcius ambient, 20psi boost with full throttle in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear IAT kept dropping from 40C start to 16C by the time he got off the throttle.... Fuel was BP 98oct with power about 380rwkw being that the water meth wasn't tuned to add power only used as a buffer!

The controller has an injection on/off screen. Or you can run an in-line toggle switch

does this gauge show Vacuum as well as boost?? I'm getting close to getting my motor together and installing my kit, only have 2 pod locations, 1 used by WB A/F, other currently boost/vac. would like to replace boost/vac gauge with the VC-50 IF it reads vacuum.. otherwise I'll need a third pod location for it. thanks

Is a fuse or relay required? The electrical diagram does not show it.

A fuse or relay is not required. If you are to use a fuse a 30amp should be sufficient.

So on this setup, you have the solenoid in the trunk near the pump, and the check valve in the engine bay? Is this a typical order for these on every application? I have both I am installing on my F150 and I just want to make sure I have them setup properly. Is there a "Snow-recommended" distance for each? (Ex. Check valve 16" from TB, and solenoid 12" from pump) ?

Id say a typical order would be (tank>pump>solenoid> check valve> nozzle). There isn't necessarily a specific distance that they should be from things like that.

Does your Stage 2 kit have a test mode after setting up in the car? It's a good way to test if every connection is ok or whether adjustments are needed.

It has a purge mode so you can see if it will spray and to get the air out of the lines.

Is it possible to locate the injector after the throttle body for an application that had made tgv delete?

Why not just shorten the coupler between the throttle body and intercooler so the intercooler seals to to scoop so the intercooler is actually effective?

Shortening the couple won’t help but maybe 1/4”in because the lip of the intercooler will be physically hitting the lip to the throttle body.

Prices can very quite substantially. installation time should only take 4-8 hours.

What is the solenoid hooked to? I just purchased the same kit and it has “power nozzle” for solenoid. I’d like to run a solenoid in between the pump and the tank with solenoid hooked to pump power and the power nozzle solenoid hooked to the yellow wire coming from the vc50.

Using it in between the tank and pump you would connect one wire to the pumps power and the other goes to ground.

I have 1990 Mercedes-Benz with a naturally aspirated engine that has both MAF and IAT sensors - Electronically controlled throttle actuator - Ignition is probably a wasted spark system - Fuel is electronically injected The car is located in the middle east and I intend to use the system only in summertime to have better response due to higher octane level as fuel here is very poor and ambient temperatures can easily exceed 50c

The Solenoid can be mounted anywhere between the pump and injection point.

Only if a heavy concentration of methanol is injected. If a low concentration of methanol or water is injected this will not affect the A/F ratio just lower IATs!

A lower concentration is meaning something low in methanol and high in water for example( 20%methanol-80%water) water does the majority of the cooling and the methanol is adding the octane. In short when you have a high water content you are getting a minimal octane boost but you still get the cooling effect.

Our systems boost octane by up to 25 points meaning your regular 91 can be boosted up to 116

@Snow Performance it follows that 87 octane would be 112 octane right? I ask because premium is up to 4.65 where I live. Is it feasible to use this to run low grade fuel in a car that normally requires 91? Subaru wrx fyi

It definitely is feasible, we have a few WRX systems available. A direct port plate system and a throttle body plate system for 2015+ WRX, and a throttle body plate system for 2005-2014 WRX STI
