I worked for Joel at Motion along with my buddy Stan Noren PART TIME from 1969-1971. Did a lot of jet work on those 3 barrel Carbs and Joel used to take out every cay we did onto Sunrise Highway, in front of the shop and watch him do burnouts and a full quarter milecpass! The shop workers would stand outside and watch as Joel tested them out! Still have a few MOTION valve cover plaques around! FYI for those that didn't know, Joel Rosen passed on Oct.9, 2023 at 83 years old about 2 weeks before his 84th birthday! Surely he resides along with the likes of Duntov, Shelby,, Jenkins and others from that legendary time!

No. 396s were available in 1967&68 from the factory but not 427s. (All are big blocks)

That car came with a big block just not a 427. The guy doing the intro was not very educated.

You,my friend,are the uneducated one...Motion performance did the 427 install on a new Camaro that had a factory installed L-78(396/375).Many performance oriented dealers did this in 67-8. In 1969,they ordered them from GM already 427 equipped. Do your homework!
