When a great mate told me about this programme a few years ago I didn’t pay that much attention. I’m no fisherman and it sounded fairly dull but I was hooked from the first episode. It’s one of the finest tv series ever made. And what a friendship. Thanks guys. Please keep making them!

It is a celebration of the 'Simplest things' . Gentle. Kind, fun, funny, natural friendship and life in joy of simply being. I shall be watching them ALL day, they are good for the spirit - so blessedly life-affirming - it is a true gem!! So much so that I have bought a TVL to watch it all!! It is love - Affirmed... so gentle, so human - being! I really, really do love such humanity and natural Love and friendship... REAL LOVE... Love is Real... It is a heartfelt endeavour and the Heart shows... LOVE unfeigned... A gentle day ahead relaxing in such company... xx xx

I wanted to write a comment about this show but paused for ages. What was it about this series, these hosts, the format that I really liked? I mean it’s not the fishing (although I always hope they will catch one). It’s not the bickering (although when they click at times it is a joy to watch). All I know is I have watched every episode and always look forward to the next one. It’s absurd, silly and totally addictive to watch and I love it!
