zooneba Do you realize asking that makes you look like an ignorant noob? You are hearing this through many layers of processing and in a different medium. It wouldn't sound the same live with the same settings, even if you had the EXACT same gear, set up, and played the same. Which you definitely won't. Use your ears and learn to set up an amp.
@thebigb3ard9 жыл бұрын
An "ignorant noob" for asking to see amp settings? Hmmm. Okay I'm not going to bite here, you obviously are far more experienced and knowledgeable than me. Never again shall I ask such a questionable question.thank you for enlightening me of my ignorance and noobishnish. Go forth keyboard warrior and spread your judgement on people.
@bbnatedogg9 жыл бұрын
zooneba I was trying to help you, maybe not in the nicest way though. You can look like a dumb ass if you want to, but his amp settings have no appllicable purpose for you. Read about how to an amp and practice. Try different settings to see what you like.

At the end Rabea suggests using an SE245 instead of the Tremonti Custom shown in the video. The pickups are the same. Also both guitars have thick body width. An possible advantage of 245 might be increased clarity on the rhythm parts due to its hard tail bridge. However that advantage might be negated by the 245's shorter scale length.
@RubenGriffin9 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for the video guys, Mark is one of my absolute favourite guitar players and i love Alter Bridge! Marks new album came out today and its just immense, blows me away~ awesome to get some guidance to get an idea of how to get his tone :)

Rabea I was only in the store the other day with my PRS Tremonti. Gutted I wasn't there when you did this. You played my guitar for the Christmas special a few years back!
@ErikStone16 жыл бұрын
The Tremonti SE has a 25" scale length, which is good for down tuning and heavier gauge strings. All other PRS single cut guitars are 24.5" scale length. PRS use to make a model 250 with a 25" scale length, but it has been discontinued and replace with the model 245 (shorter). So if you want a PRS with a single cut and 25" scale length, the Tremonti is your only choice for now.

You say it's just an SE with a trem, but the PRS singlecut was originally only available as the Mark Tremonti signature guitar. Nice job on the tones.
@src2489 жыл бұрын
The normal Tremonti SE is just a singlecut with Tremonti's name on it. What you have there is a Custom, which has a thicker body with a thinner neck and trem-up routing. In other words, swap the pickups and it's what Mark actually plays, just made in Korea.
@denmut9 жыл бұрын
Thanks Bea for that! Freat vid! But we need a delay for tremonti's lead sound...
@aganton49778 жыл бұрын
There are three main differences between the Tremonti signature model and the SE245: 1) signature model has maple neck not mahogany, 2) 25" scale length vs. 24 3/4", and routing on tremelo to allow pulling up. Besides the signature finish options.

I personally not a fan of Tremonti´s tone but he is a great great guitar player. You can get the Tremonti tone using a Blackstar HT Series amps. Tremonti uses to amps together. A Dual Rectifier and VooDoo Amps (british style) or the PRS Archon. With the Blackstar ISF knob you can mix both style. Is not the exact tone but it get you there. I also prefer Blackstar to Line 6.
