Bad translation at the end. He basically said to master the footwork. He said master when to go in and out, where to put your foot, where to place your weight and that the rest would come automatically. He said that he wanted you guys to change the mindset and that what makes a great fighter is not the ability to throw head kicks and so on… It is the footwork and that is what you should master.

It's normally not a good idea to walk through punches in Sparring. Partners hit you light out of respect but your supposed to respect the shot like it was a hard punch, so if you walk through everything, you might do it in a real fight. So I wouldn't normally recommend people do this, but Rodtang is an exception. This man literally does the same thing in real fights. Walks down opponents tanking lunches. Savage.

Rodtang carries a great aura about him when he spars/fights. You can tell. It’s easy to see Shane being hesitant to throw/open up his defence;almost fearful of what is going to come back his way simply because of who he is facing. That is not a knock on you Shane btw. I am pretty confident 90% of us would of been the exact same way sparring the p4p best 60kg Muay Thai fighter in the world lol. Great video!

Not trynna knock him but its honestly silly. Whole time he just tried to bully shane and make him look slight with his hands down and literally just walking into punches. He was putting more weight behind his punches than shane was, due to shane giving him respect, but in all honesty, should never replicate what rodtang was doing in this session.

@@RAGEINYOUTH at 2:41 is only time a put a little weight into his punches he was being respectful not even using kicks what do you want rodtang to catch a murder charge ? You are supposed to light spar you don’t want to hurt your teammates

@RAGEINYOUTH Жыл бұрын
@@devinsilva2102 bro was really pressing the aggression and throwing slapping shots while shane was straight throwing tapping punches. At that point rodtang was just playing with him. Anybody with boxing experience could just go in and start throwing slapping shots like that with their down, shane just gave him too much respect.

@@RAGEINYOUTH U have 0 experience i can see,this is what respectfull MUAY THAI sparring is,check out saenchai sparring or buakaw,putting your hands down means that you know you have respectfull sparring partner who wont try to knock you out in a sparring.
