I interpret the finale where Miley puts the wig back on and becomes Hannah once again as a Jungian allegory of the fragmented self re-integrating into a fully self-actualised being, able to embrace a multiplicity of personas and imagoes. Hannah Montana is in fact a Romantic Bildungsroman in the tradition of Goethe's The Sorrows of Young Werther and Hermann Hesse's Steppenwolf.

Oh man, this reminds me of how I dragged my parents to go see this with me when I was 10. I think I was the only boy in the audience and I got asked why I was seeing it (I genuinely wanted to watch it tho!) and now I understand why. This movie is skewed toward the stereotypes girls often get marketed toward them and the premise is underwhelming...but it all revolves around the "Will they or won't they" plot around if Hannah will get leaked (everyone knew the big reveal was coming somehow) and if she would end up with Cow Pie Clyde (I genuinely forgot his actual name but I *love* Cow Pie Clyde lolol), and that was enough to carry it for many people. Also, you may have overlooked this with how the movie was but, Taylor Swift's song 'Crazier', which she performed in the movie, is really good. One of Taylor's most underrated imo.
