So I completely forgot to get some exhaust clips from inside the cab, outside, and revving 🤦🏻‍♂️😂. I'll be sure to get some this week and upload them soon!

So I have a 16 Silverado 5.3 and I have a full borla exhaust and CAI but I have been told without a tune you won’t see any HP increases which sounds crazy to me as I can feel the power increase. Wanted to ask your thoughts on getting headers but no tune vs tune and the pros vs cons sort of deal. I’m at 70k miles and wondering what my next steps should be. Thanks for the help and BA truck.

it does hang pretty low, it hangs lower than the crossmember that’s there. but i didnt have any problems with it scraping. i did plan on going to an exhaust shop to see if they could raise it somehow

I have the same headers and y pipe bro! Do you notice what sounds like an exhaust leak under your driver floor board near the driver side collector when you’re cruising? I can’t find any leaks it’s almost like the air passing thru the first bend on the y pipe right after the collector is causing it...Trying to decide if this is normal or if I actually have a leak I can’t find. I’m considering wrapping the y pipe with header wrap to see if it will dampen the sound it feels like cruising in an old farm truck under 2k rpm.

Pimps, I’m experiencing the same sound under the driver side floor. I have a set of Kooks Long Tube headers with the High Flow cats. Same sound.. it’s a gargling/bubbling/ exhaust leak sound.. (no exhaust leaks )

I don’t have any resonators or cats just a muffler on 3.5” pipe after the 3” Y. I ended up having the slip fittings from the Y pipe to the header collectors welded up and it didn’t change anything. I’ve decided it’s all due to the high velocity gasses hitting the first bend right after the driver side collector..
