In my marvel universe series Spider-Man and MJ are married. Even better, MJ is pregnant which we see affect Peter’s life in some way. He of course announces it to his friends making Human Torch the babies’s godfather and Black Cat the godmother. We also see him quit his Bugle job and become a teacher, which in that would explore his relationship with the students. It also would explore MJ’s past with her father and all that. It would also explore how much of a community the superhero world has become. We would also see his relationship with his old friends like Ned Leeds or Harry Osborn (both Peter and Harry agreed not to make him the babies godfather because of Norman). We would see his friendship with Flash Thompson that in the series goes through a “phase” where he regrets for the bullying he did and tries to apologize even if Peter has long forgiven him…. Can’t say the same with Aunt May. We would also see what the other heroes’ view on Spider-Man becoming a father, all remembering their many battles together. We also see the normal people’s reaction on Peter’s pregnancy. J. Jonah Jameson when hearing it becomes proud of Peter and says how proud he is, remembering the young boy Peter once was when he first began and actually wishes Peter the best of luck when Peter leaves. This series isn’t a Spider-Man core series however so his daughter, May “Mayday” Parker isn’t the end of the series. The episode of Mayday’s birth WOULD end with Black Cat sneaking in to the hospital looking at a sleeping newborn baby Mayday and kiss her in the cheek and just watches in delight. As she’s about to leave she whispers into Mayday’s ear “You must be the most beautiful treasure I ever seen.” Later when she takes care of Mayday when she’s a couple months older you can see that Felicia absolutely adores Mayday. From cuddling to calling her cute things (similarly to how she called Spider-Man names during their more romantic part of their relationship). We would also see the relationship Mayday as a baby would have with other characters associated with Spider-Man like Aunt May, Human Torch, Flash, Liz, Harry and many more.

There are so many reasons I love this movie, but here are the main ones I think it deserves to be talked about: 1. Delves into series themes about mental / physical health - It's okay to not be okay, and to seek help. Note how both heroes and villains were often at war with themselves and in need of healing / repair / redemption. 2. Everyone deserves a second chance. Even the heroes and villains. Everyone. 3. It's easy to justify decisions with the "greater good" but it's much harder yet more rewarding to save those around us, one person at a time Morals aside, there were so many feels with this one! Even with the spoilers, being able to see these characters share the screen together was so surreal, I still couldn't believe it had happened the day after I'd watched the film! Would definitely have to rewatch it a few more times.

I finally got to watch the movie last night and noticed something instantly. Each Spider-Man plays into their generation in the real world. Tobey’s Spider-Man was the first, so naturally he manages to teach both Andrew and Toms Spidermen lessons throughout the movie. Almost acting like an older brother. Tom was the younger brother. Very naive, emotional, and even needed a course correction at the end via Tobey stopping the glider. But Andrew’s was honestly my favorite in the movie. He’s the weird middle child of the franchise. Not new enough to relate to the new audiences, not old enough to relate to the old audiences. It’s more impactful when you realize that throughout the whole movie it’s almost like Disney and Sony were trying to give him a redemption from his movies in the franchise. Andrew’s Spider-Man was mistreated terribly in his movies. His success in saving MJ redeemed him of his (Sonys) worst mistake, which was failing to save Gwen.

There was alot of things wrong in this vid. Matt Murdock's appearance was NOT the first confirmation that the Netflix shows exist in the MCU, as they refer to the "incident" (when the chitari invaded) and Ben Urich's office includes clippings of front page covers of some marvel events, including a screen cap from the Incredible Hulk movie, as it describes his battle with Abomination in Harlem
@SnakeActual
@SnakeActual 2 жыл бұрын
@@johnychrist5475 To be fair, the shows' usage of MCU assets and canon doesn't automatically mean that they're part of that canon. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D referenced it more than once by flashing events or characters from the movies more than once during its run (Coulson notwithstanding), but we still don't know for certain how AoS factors in. I'd even go so far as to say that there's more evidence pointing to no relation between them at this point, since we've had at least two instances that I can think of (the Darkhold and Mockingbird) from the Disney+ shows that retcon stuff established by AoS. Until the movies acknowledge the older supplemental shows (as with Murdock), we can't really call them canon no matter how well the shows themselves slot in.

I give this movie a 10/10, although the ending had me in absolute tears and was heartbreaking and I wish no one forgot who Peter Parker was, but rather just have everyone remember him who already knew him beforehand but only have May, MJ, Happy, and Ned remember that he's Spider-Man and have everyone else forget. But the one scene that had me on my toes was when all the enemies were circled around Peter and his Spidey-Senses were going off and he just couldn't figure out who it was at first, but then he found out and instantly webbed Goblin's hand down cuz he was able to realize it was him. The fact that they were able to get all of the Sony stuff in this movie is insane! I wonder if there was a new deal made between them and Disney or something. Cause last I heard, Sony was very much like "We want to keep the few heroes and villains we own and make terrible movies." But I guess they came to an understanding. My theory on Electro: Before disappearing for good in the amazing universe, he became pure energy and began coursing through the network. Perhaps, he was able to "lookup" Spiderman's secret identity and found out his name was Peter Parker without every actually ever seeing Peter. This may have something to do with the new look as well if he's being pulled back from his ultimate form as pure energy perhaps he was recreated as his ego's self image. 🤷🏼‍♂️
@imkluu
@imkluu 2 жыл бұрын
Good explanation. Mine was that Electro didn't actually die where we saw in the movie, but survived in the power grid to return in his new and improved form to fight Spider-Man again. First he traveled thru the grid as only energy and learned how to access the internet. Finding how Dr Connors had battled Spider-Man before he had, and wanting to find a weakness in Spider-Man, he was able to visit Connors in prison, and in so doing free him. Meeting later in a secret lab Connors had set up, Dr. Connors told him Peter's identity, tho he never actually sees him. Dr. Connors turns himself back into the Lizard, and returns to NYC to complete his plans, and was almost immediately caught by Dr Strange when he appeared in NYC in the MCU. If he was about to be killed in some way is not known, but perhaps there is some reaction to using the old Lizard formula, and he just has a heart attack. At this same time Spider-Man was out checking the Lizard's lab, which he had learned of while going thru Connors papers after their fight over a year before, when he had learned of Connor's escape. While he is there Electro pulls himself together in his new and idealized form to attack Spider-Man, but was incredibly weak, only having the electricity generated by the Lizard's lab Batteries, and was about to be finally, and permanently, destroyed by the now more brutal Spider-Man, when he was transported to the MCU. He appeared in the forest because this is where Connors' lab was when he was fighting Spidey. He noticed the much more powerful electric field, because of the power network around him, which wasn't there to recharge him in the other universe. Coincidentally, Sandman was also nearby, having moved to an out of city cabin and working at some job in the woods in his own universe. This explains how Connors knew Electro, but how he looked different, and how Electro knew who Spider-Man was but not how he looked.
@ddnava96

About his appearance, if you watch TAS2 again you'll notice how his body changes before being turned into electricity. You can easily notice it when his teeth sorta break and become properly aligned After that scene, we mever got to see Electro in normal human skin until No way home. I believe that's the look he's always had after the accident, but we never got to see it before because he was in his pure electricity form

Electro mentions that he was downloading "data" just before he died, but there's also a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment in AS2 during the climactic battle when Max is incapacitated. Gwen Stacy start arguing with Peter and calls him by name, and we then immediately cut to Electro's eyes snapping open. It's not hard to believe that he might have overheard them, and made the connection to that Bugle photographer who takes Spidey's pictures, or put two and two together during the aforementioned data harvesting.

I’m still trying to process the state this movie left me in. The meeting and battle of the three Spideys was EVERYTHING I could’ve hoped for. But it was also sandwiched between the gut punch that was May’s death and the heart-wrenching ending. I know a lot of fans are delighted that the MCU is finally giving us a Spider-Man more true to his source, but I’m gonna need him to eventually get his deserved reunion with MJ and everyone else who knew him. The fact that he didn’t go through with telling MJ and Ned anything in the coffee shop also destroyed me, because he now understands what their being involved in his life will do to them, and that he has to sacrifice for the greater good. @@electraking8856 I think that Tom Hollands parker will eventually meet up with MJ and Ned but more at a natural pace, not sort of forcing them to understand and remember like he was initially planning on doing once he got to the coffee shop. When he first showed up he had so much venom in his voice, whether he was confused and had the right Spiderman or not, he was going to kill a Spiderman today. He's his classic aggressive villain self with the arms slamming Peter around and clamping him so tightly. Then in the final fight it's such a different story. He grabs both the Spidermen enough to be believable... and then so delicately restrains Electro and gives him the inhibitor. It's a kind of gentleness that was lost when he became a villain, and it's mirrored in when he meets Tobey. He says "Hello, Peter" just like when he showed up, but this time in a friendly, gentle tone, and he even asks how he's been with a grin on his face. He's had time to think how best to approach Spiderman from his own universe, having disappeared from the plot for several scenes, and the way he has such a wholesome moment with Tobey just about made me tear up.

I'm just glad they gave Andrew's Spiderman some much needed credit. I don't like the TASM movies, but his portrayal of the character deserves alot of credit and had he been in better written movies, he could've definetly been one of the best Spiderman versions.

7:08 The first confirmation of the spider bite origin was actually in Spider-Man: Homecoming. There's a scene where Ned and Peter are walking near the wreckage of Mr. Delmar's sub shop, and Ned keeps annoying Peter if he could get the spider that bit him to bite him as well.

It's so rare to have a trilogy of great movies. They usually crumble by the third, or have a weak middle. Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far from Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home are all Amazing.

The entire ending scene is clearly a reference to the Insomniac Spider-Man, with Peter moving to his new apartment, (looking like the same one in the game), complete with the police scanner emergency report and him swinging around New York just like the opening scene of the game. I think Spider man numbering themselves was also an easter egg where the fans were doing the same thing all the time. This film officially announced that Garfield's one is the 3rd and Amazing spider acknowledged it by repeating "OK! 3rd, 3rd!". Elecro's knowing Peter Parker can be a bit streched. Electro defined his death when he was trying to re-gather his enegy but his death seen was caused when he was overloaded with energy. Can it be that he was still alive and trying hold himself together when the hobgoblin came and realized that Peter Parker is spiderman? (Too much streching in effect!)

21:30 They're definitely building up to something with Ned's Filipino ancestry. Grandmother saying there's history of magic in the family, emphasis on his Filipino heritage & speaking Tagalog at home, ancient Filipino weaponry decorating the house. His magical prowess is probably tied to some sort of familial connection to the Diwatas, the god of the Philippines in the Marvel Universe.

Easter egg you missed: during the Happy's apartment scene, Electro asks Peter "are those your Legos", and points at something off screen.. this is likely the Emperor Palpatine fig that Ned originally had in the first movie and is shown later in the film - the *very exclusive* minifigure of Electro from Amazing Spiderman 2 uses the exact same trans-blue electric accessory, as a fun Star Wars/LEGO reference

I like the way you are trying to link them together, but I think there is a different reason. Electro is referring to the pile of Legos from the "broken" Death Star that Dummy had knocked over earlier. The same one from the first Spider Man movie that Ned and Peter were putting together.

It was expertly executed, nothing felt rushed, it had a great balance of jokes and action along with a lot of emotional scenes (I was crying in the theatre,I'm sure many did) and they introduced Tobey and Andrew in the best way that I could think of. Al lin all, this was one of the best movies that i have ever watched and I really want this masterpiece to beat Avatar in the Box office (The way in which it beat Avengers Endgame after more than a decade was insulting).

Like, I thought it was going to be a fun cameo, they'd pop in right at the end and help Tom Holland with the final fight or something. But no! We got so much from them and I couldn't be happier. The best scene in the entire movie was when they were just talking on the statue of liberty waiting for the villains. AHH, loved this movie. This is an insta 4k blu-ray buy for me.

I was too young to relate to Tobey's Spiderman movies when it came out, but I think that trilogy best shown Peter's struggle in life and i always felt sad for his character back then. I think Garfield has the best Spiderman energy in costume and his awkwardness as Peter just clicks with me. Too bad the stories his series tried to show isn't as good as the first trilogy, but I personally think he is the best friendly neighborhood spidey. But I think Tom's portrayal of Spiderman and Peter both is the most balanced among the three, and now that he has went thru all the things he has been throughout the MCU, it felt like all that is his origin story and now spidey is back to being a lone vigilante having no one to rely to but himself, I'm excited to see Peter Parker maturing just in time as Tom also enters his late twenties. (Although, since everyone still knows who spiderman is, he can pretty much just reveal his identity and earn himself some favors from the Avengers.)
