There's reasons for this. Number one, the Harry Osborn Goblin playthrough while albeit, neat, isn't a major thing. It's a cool unlock sure, and I covered the fact that there's THINGS to unlock I believe but in reality it's the Josh Keaton voice over that they did before they could get the rights to use Tobey McGuire's as Spider-Man. That in itself is an entire explanation that in a video already 20 something minutes long didn't seem all that important. Number two, despite a few things being different in terms of how the character handles, the core game play mechanics are relatively the same minus the fact that Goblin can use his Glider, has enhanced speed and can throw pumpkin bombs, and lastly and the more important reason, it some what ties into the first one. My laptop at the point this video was in production was already imploding in on itself. I cut what I felt wasn't too important for the review to salvage the life of my laptop to get Spider-Man 2 review out before it died, so there's that.

with cheats you can play as the goblin and it makes the game like 50 times awesomer, throwing all kind of bombs, speed running, using your glider to mow down thugs with the guns, the plot is even a bit different

You got it all wrong with Tobey Maguire though. Although I see what you mean but he doesn't do a terrible job. It makes me happy to hear Tobey say the names of villains that weren't in the movies. It's like he was part of a bigger franchise.

I enjoyed it. Though it has some frustrating moments and the whole game was a bit formulaic. And Tobey's performance was phoned in to a point that is completely obvious he did a voice-over to collect a paycheck.

Btw I like the review. Don't worry about the combo moves. I play fighting games so I remember them easily now. Yeah I though Scorpion was SUCH an interesting character. I was so disappointed he wasn't further fleshed out. I have no idea if he returns in any of the other future movie games.

I actually like the lab levels. Spider-Man has always been about science and it only makes me wish the Sam Raimi movies were more like this. Sam could have started a cinematic universe. in fact there was going to be a Wolverine cameo in the first movie but something went wrong.

As a spidey fan ive only played 2 and 1 he apeears in this on ps2,TASM (2012) for 360 hoping to get shattered dimension ,TASM 2 (2014)game for x mas and the deadpool video game ac rogue and for latest game sequel to the one he appeared in Lego Marvels Avengers this game is really good but a pain as hell to try and beat.

None of his jokes? Nah I wouldn't say that. some of them are pretty good. Makes me wish he said some of these line in the films. I liked his quips at the main villains. Green Goblin: "I can't believe you can't sense our kinship. We're practically brothers!" Spider-Man: "Brothers Huh? Well then I'm telling mom." or Shocker: "Alright punk, you need to learn a lesson and Shocker's school of hard knocks is now open." Spider-Man: "Give me a break Shock! I can't believe you have any class let alone a while school worth!" Admit it that was funny. The Shocker quip was better cause it sounded like he had a good time with that one.

The Alex Ross coustume (from this game) that Alex designed for the movie (that didn't make the cut because they wanted a more classic look) was put in this game... then later used as the prototype for the Superior Spider-Man outfit. I am glad that Peter Parker is back though

ProJatior that’s an interesting take. I’ve always seen it as the expansion of Neversoft’s work from Spider-Man 2000. Natural evolution of that gameplay style. SM2 at least for me offers such a stark contrast to this one that it’s hard to even imagine it being made by the same studio.

P1SM I played this game after the Rami based Spider Man 2 game. I’m replaying Spider-Man now. I basically see every CG 3D space game that came before as a prototype to SM2 because it was the first game that gave the right feel for how Spider Man should play.

I address this in my next review out soon, but to give you the cliff notes, this game wasn't really pushing the power of the console. It's an old engine, barely using anything, so graphically it got the polish. SM2 had way too many things that it had to suffer somewhere.

It's coming. I'm going in order by games. Reasons for this was originally I was going from Spider-Man 2000 straight into the current generation (or last, lol) of Spider-Man games and I started with Shattered Dimensions because I had no way of recording the PS2 era games I had, and I didn't have Enter Electro so I didn't want to go all out of order. But then I managed to get a hold of Enter Electro and could get footage for the PS2 games, so decided that I should go back to my original plan. So if you know the order of Spider-Man games, you should know which one is next. I'm not putting it off, it's just how things worked out, and I'm tackling things one at a time.
