My biggest question is, how come it never occurred to someone before Admiral Holdo, to use hyperspace as a weapon? Imagine having thousands of guided missiles, fitted with hyperdrives and then launching them at your enemy, from light years away. You could complete obliterate an entire fleet of Star destroyers before they even knew what hit them. This is the biggest weapon in the universe and all they seem to use it for is chasing each other.

The most disappointing thing for me was snoke. I agree with all of your criticisms but snoke could have been the saving grace for this movie and franchise. He was set up as a legitimately great villain, possibly more powerful and ingenious than the emperor... has 2 minutes of screen time and dies the dumbest way possible. Y'know what pisses me off? I wanted to feel legitimately sad during Leia's death, my heart swelled up when they straight up blew her out of the command deck and it wasn't even Kylo who pulled the trigger. I was so ready to be emotional for that scene, but they fucking ruined it. I was emotional during Luke's passing but it didn't feel right to me, it felt rushed. If they had Luke go out as a fighter or they build him up more or focused more on him and Rey, I would've been balling in the theater, but we don't get that. I still liked the film but it really irks me with the major decisions they made that felt rushed and unsatisfying.

And then she beat kylo in a duel, who was a skilled fighter who had over 10 years of training. TFA and TLJ took place in a time frame of about 1 month and in that period rey basically became a god without any training. If you try to say a 1 week in the islands with luke made rey master of the force you just must be dumb. I have no offence for the actors, most of them were great, but the writing of those movies was awful bc it pretty much destroyed the whole star wars saga

I hated how they built up Snoke to be some obviously powerful force user. (He was moving Rey around like she was a puppet and he had lightning force too) and then he was just killed off right away. I sure hope they atleast give some back story on Snoke in Episode 9, or that he somehow survived being cut in half. I mean his body looked like it had been through a lot so maybe he could have survived being cut in half... I mean, Darth Maul survived.

Cvrson I don't know if they can do that.. if Kylo Ren botched killing Snoke that would just make his character seem even more incompetent and at least in my eyes they are already struggling to make Kylo Ren seem like a true threat to the resistance. I love Kylo Ren as a conflicted sith apprentice but a Sith Lord he is not. A seemingly formidable supreme leader of the first order he is not. I agree with your sentiment though. I too am a extremely disappointed with how they handled Snoke. I think they may need to invent a character to step forward in the next movie and forcefully take the reigns of the first order from Kylo Ren.

I think he's still alive because I saw a theorist video saying he might be projecting himself like Luke was when he fought Kylo. He was just testing Kylo to see if he would betray him. Also he said he can snse Kylo's every move so why couldn't he sense that? So he's probably in a palace somewhere in the outer reaches.

Or maybe he is much more skilled in making “force clones”. Idk I just feel like Snoke is very powerful and and is probably super intelligent since he looks very old. I just don’t see how someone like Kylo would kill him that easily.
