You are awesome Ramya.. I recently stopped intermittent fasting that I followed for 1.5 years. I was able to reduce 10 kgs but couldn't reduce any further. Later I noticed I was more keen on wen I eat than what I eat. When the diet window starts I eat almost everything as granted. So I'm definitely considering all your points mentioned here over my customized mean plan... Thank you..

All her videos are scientifically proven and ideal ways. (As am one of fitness enthusiasts who did lot of research on Indian meals for diet and workouts. I have the understanding to say this scientific and effective).This channel is My biggest motivation for weight loss and exercise. Avoiding dal is acceptable to the point as you mentioned but what about coconut? Why it shouldn't be added to poriyal?

Coconut is great ( it is a healthy fat- but it is saturated fat and high in calories. If you want to use it , cut down the portion size. example in poriyal or kootu, use only 2 tablespoons. You’ll still get the taste and not overdo on calories and saturated fats. One other way is to have only 1 coconut based dish in a day or only 2-3 a week instead of every day and sticking to the 2tbsp rule. Everything in moderation as the saying goes. I have given up coconut chutney ( my fav due to l these reasons). I eat only 2 meals a day ( find that more than sufficient for me and my busy lifestyle).. I eat khichdi most days , easy to make and very satisfying and nourishing. Use only brown rice or millets no white rice). Roti sabzi for brunch/lunch and millet or brown rice khichdi for dinner/evening meal , if I am hungry… I liked the concept of 1 min exercises , mentioned on this podcast , will be incorporating that into my routine , every hour though rather 20 mins.. Aside from this 2 x 30 min cardio routine and one yoga routine..

What she has said is almost correct but I would avoid mid meal snacks as it kicks in insulin. The more the the insulin is withdrawn from the blood, the quicker your body turns to fat for energy.

This pattern will suis for who done a strengthen training every day or 45 minutes of cardio with in a week 4 to 5 days but most of South Indian girls don't have a time do a cardio or fullbody workouts so this will not suit for all South Indian womens so proper way is 10 % carbs 20% proteins 70% good fats this will suits perfectly for South India

@@akhealthandkitchenNutritionist even for regular people who do no workout,10% is not enough carbs, the percentage mentioned in video is from total calories, so as you say for unga body kku with no workout less calories is ok but 50% of less calories must be from healthy carbs not 10%, i'm person who reduced weight and became fit so i know from experience

@@arunsp2001 you have to know about basics actually i dudnt told to take 10% carbs only if a person reduce in their carbs 10% means they have to take 20 percentage of proteins and 70% will come thru by good fats (this is the proper healthy weightloss) so i am not told to reduce only carbs & i hope you have to understand the science behind the healthy lifestyle if foodlifestyle

Hai I am a senior citizen. All your points are acceptable. In a family of 5 members for each one Two to three servings or more of each ingredient is possible unless you have home help or everyone of your family must help. What to do then? Even higher middle class people can't afford to buy all these items in sufficient quantity for everyone of the family . My only problem is not enuf protein as I’m vegetarian apart from paneer,tofu & protein powder which we can’t eat everyday in a big portion as contain carbs & fat as well….what are the best protein source which I can include in my diet other than above mentioned items? I find it very difficult for vegetarians to meet daily protein….
