I find this series SO FASCINATING!!!! I love the focus on muscle contraction and understanding how muscles actually work. Honestly, it's mindblowing for me (I've trained in the strength/power side of the spectrum for most of my years) to really understand how to feel the contraction - so many movements where I thought I had great technique (not that it doesn't work for strength), but just completely relearning their applications. Thanks to you and Ben to being open to share this!!

The two of you teaming up for this series is awesome. Ive watched you and Ben for a while and just started implementing his techniques a couple weeks ago. There is so much applicable amount of information in each video its great

I applied the information that was provided in this video and used a lighter weight to make sure I could feel it. Although I know some bad habits still crept in from years of lifting, OMG. I was dying at the end of my workout but I did not want to stop. I wanted to keep applying it to different back exercises.

I subscribed after watching a few videos. Here is why! Stefi explains why the work out and how. And she is showing more knowledge as she learns. Amazing content, I follow eddie hall and Brian shaw, found this thru juji and his grip stuff. Love it, please keep it up Stefi. I'm showing everyone I know ur channel.

From what I understand Ben is one of the top coaches for Bodybuilding and definitely among the ranks of professional Bodybuilders. Ran a program of his a few years back and it is brutal but effective.

Absolutely loving this series. As a competitor and PT, breaking each movement down and having the understanding of "why", really does change the way you train. Yes, we all become lazy, so this is great for the reminders. Thank you guys and I look forward to the next video.

Being a student physical therapist, I truly enjoyed this video. I'm still trying to get a better grasp on the muscles along with their origins & insertions, but this is some great content. I do think that for someone who does not have a lot of knowledge on all the muscles, this can be a bit of "over cueing", but in this sport I guess it's necessary; it also helps to be teachable athlete! Get to know your body & your muscles; learning proper form is the best thing you could do for your health & prevention of injury!

i had a pt too that would help with contractions, but honestly sometimes it just doesnt work the way they think it should, everyones body is different and certain ranges arent really optimal.. it all depends on the persons insertions/lengths/pivots etc...

I don’t get his comments at the 2:19 mark about not retracting the muscle & keeping it lengthened when you pull. Many of Ben’s other back videos state to retract the scapula during back exercises. Maybe that’s only during rows and to keep the muscle more in the shortened position for that exercise? Any chance you could clarify?

What's there to say? She obviously takes ped's like most athletes at the top of their game...so what! They don't give the user determination, drive, work ethic or even lift the friggin weights. Steffi is a Dr, a world champion and a nice person.
