Hey man love the work! I don’t quite understand how your beginning cuts with the swivel knife look so dark. When I cut my outline it doesn’t have that dark burnished look in the impression of the cut. Is it a depth thing? I just can’t get that 3D appearance that you have with the cut

Thanks! It could be an issue with the depth of the cut or even moisture content. You don’t want the leather to be drenched but if it’s too dry then you won’t get as deep or smooth cuts.
