Here's how I see it going. DC will beat Brock, retire and leave the HW title vacant. Then it'll be Stipe vs. Curtis Blaydes fighting for the vacant title.

This isn't difficult. Brock is not available until after January. DC wants to fight once before then, he's mentioned November. Great, he should. Keep the new champ in front of the crowd, and he would like to solidify his claim on both titles and possible GOAT status. He would like Jones, who's availability is still in question. DC dropping 40# to fight at 205 in November is borderline crazy. Gaining 40# back to fight at heavyweight by March is crazy squared. The last time a much younger DC tried that level of weight manipulation he landed in the hospital. The weight game is too risky a strategy for everyone, including the UFC. Other than Jones there is no big payday fight for DC at 205. If Jones becomes available, fight Jones at heavyweight. That would be PPV gold. If Jones is not available, fight Miocic. He unquestionably has earned the right to ask for the fight, and of anyone available it would be the best payday for everyone involved. DC beating Stipe twice puts to bed any lingering doubts about the 'Eye Poke of Doom", settles GOAT questions, puts John Jones in the past where he belongs, set up the Lesnar fight, and gives DC a clear path to retirement as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, MMA fighter in history.
