Hi Shanon, I will write a proper comment tomorrow when I have a bit more time ( different country from you). However, another amazing and informative video, thank you! As for the habits, I have been a very good girl since I watched the video last week. Without fail every time I go to the bathroom or clean my teeth I recall my 4 S's (Smile, Stretch, Shake and remember Shanon's advice).

@@nourishcenter Hi Shanon, thank you for all the valuable information and you presented it in an accessible and informative way. I liked that you give concrete numbers for your recommendations so that there is no ambiguity about what actually is too much sugar. I also think that the fact that you give dietary advice that is balanced and no food is demonised removes a lot of the guilt around food. It is important to me that advice is based in science and is safe, so you score a 10/10 there! The fact that you share that you occasional have sweet treats (without guilt) and the sky does not fall in is also so encouraging and relatable. I live in the UK and I am not sure if our labels are different to yours, for example a chocolate bar that I looked at today did not say 'added sugar' but after the carbohydrate number it had a separate category ' which sugars'. I think that the fact that you are passionate about helping people shines through in your videos. I am very grateful that your channel turned up in my feed and the amount that I have learnt from you (and started to implement) is a bit of a shock to me, but in a good way. I truly hope that this channel gets many more followers because it definitely deserves them. Thanks again.

I've definitely noticed that walking can reduce the urge for sweet treats. My problem is finding FPF snacks that I actually enjoy or making healthier substitutions for certain foods i like.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Walking is not only a great way to improve physical health, but it can also help with cravings and reducing the desire for sugary snacks. I totally understand the struggle of finding satisfying snacks that are also healthy. 🤔🍎🥕🥒 Have you tried experimenting with different types of fruits, vegetables, nuts, or seeds? These can make great snack options and there are endless possibilities for tasty combinations. Keep up the great work on your health journey!

Please give names of healthy snacks thanks

Sure! Here are some examples of snacks that have fiber, protein, and healthy fat: - Apple slices with almond butter - Raw veggies (carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers) with hummus - Greek yogurt with berries and chopped nuts - Hard-boiled eggs with avocado slices This just made me think of an idea to make a meal plan of just healthy snacks! Would you be interested in that, too?

❤Love your clear and positive approach to nutrition . I like the idea of the berry sauce on pancakes. I have reduced my sugar intake recently and I sleep better. I think sugar was keeping me up some. Thanks for your great videos!!
