Gratitude for the information. I'm here because none of my doctors have recommended any methods to lower cholestrol unless it was by way of meds. It's their greed. They want us to continue to mask syntomps to keep us coming back rather than us being healed. I decided to search for healthier methods to get off synthetic temporary methods .

My husband also have familia cholestrolemia like you. This information that she gives is good. Follow this and it will lower your cholesterol as well as reduce inflammation in your arteries which cause blocked arteries and heart disease. That is finally what you don't want to have. And the cholesterol limits that the doctors give is too low to achieve for someone with familia cholesterolemia. As long as you don't get blocked arteries and heart disease the cholesterol a little bit higher as supposed to is not a problem.

Thank you so much for your information, I have been taking Atorvastatins for quite a long time and recently went up from 40g to 60g and now, about 3 weeks after they were raised I am now supposed to be taking 80g and I am not happy. I wasn’t explained in the 1st place that I could try lowering my cholesterol using food but I know why that was, the people that provide medication for almost everything our own body should be supplying is worth multi billions- and it’s their sheer greed that they want to fill us full of chemicals and poison our body, so I am currently having nuts in my life plan and chia seeds, 5g on my breakfast cereal and I drink about 3 litres of water a day, maybe more. I haven’t tried seeds yet but I will be having those next time I go shopping. I don’t have any faith in my doctors here in the UK. They just seem as tho when you go to see them, they’re too ready to throw more pills at you which in my opinion is wrong, it’s like putting a band aid on everything but not getting to the root of what’s really going on with your body. It’s not even my gp who changes or adds to my meds, it all comes from the receptionist

It’s always up to the doctors clinical evaluation and professional experience. Some doctors will recommend nutrition and lifestyle changes BEFORE medication, and others will recommend medication right away, especially if they feel like the patient may not be compliant/consistent with nutrition and lifestyle changes. This is just one of many reasons but definitely not the only. Ultimately, the final say is truly up to the doctor and patients discretion.

I haven't finished watching your video yet but I want to ask you: these recommendations (which I agree with and I am a firm believer in health through food and exercise before meds) would be for a 'normal' high cholesterol situation, but what about like in my case, it came about because of menopause? How do these recommendations work when estrogen is about absent? I used for a little while the patch (HRT) but my obgyn said it would not really help with cholesterol, so no help there. Your opinion? Thank you.
@nourishcenter7 ай бұрын
Thank you for your question! Menopause can affect cholesterol due to lower estrogen levels. While HRT may not help with cholesterol, focusing on a heart-healthy diet, regular exercise, and managing stress can still make a big difference.
