I read recent updates and saw a video of the prosecutors who have now charged Alec and Hannah (the purple headed Armorer) with involuntary manslaughter. Here’s THE KICKER apparently…when this cop first walks up you see a kinda blondish, grayish haired man w/a blue mask on just hanging around outside the church door. He and/or Hannah WERE THE 2 responsible for giving Alec a supposedly checked and cold gun…meaning it’s SAFE. But here’s THE catch with this odd looking dude…he has already ‘flipped’ (if you will) and is going to be a witness for the prosecution for some kinda deal…sounds like he’s got something on Alec as what IS he going to say?? I do know…as we all do Alec IS a renowned hit head and kinda pushy and bullish. There WAS a rub with some other ppl working on this set who quit cause of unknown reasons of “safety” & money/contracts signed. They quit the day before this happened just quit. I read where ppl were shooting live ammo during breaks as the guns are real. Somebody had live bullets there and put one or left one in that gun I believe. I think that guy and Alec had had some kinda run in before. AND to make this worse Alec already has settled the civil suit outta court with the woman victim’s family. And supposedly gave her now widowed husband a “producers” role in finishing this movie. WTH??? Sounds fishy as hell to me…chic seemed incompetent by saying I don’t know Then I think when cop asked about the ammo put in gun. Definitely a shit show and that dude flipped to protect his ASS!! And put Alec and chic in jail!!

The armorer for sure screwed this up, but another thing that strikes me is how blame gets passed in these sets. They say it's not Alec's job to check that the gun is safe, yet he pulls the trigger. They say the other director guy handed him the gun, which he didn't check because he figures it's the girls job. Then I'm sure the girl will blame the supplier of ammo or something. Then when the lady that owns the ranch they're filming comes up at 7:30 or so, all she can do is say "I have insurance!". Not saying the ranch lady should have any blame at all, but it's like nobody has any responsibility. Everything is passed to the next. Seems like an easy way to have accidents when nobody has skin in the game.

That's not how firearm safety on film sets works. I've been on set for over 20 years. Here's the ones responsible. Armorer and 1st AD should both face criminal charges. She loaded the rounds, and he called "cold gun" (a term used to let everyone on set know there is no charge in the gun) and hadn't even inspected it. It's his job. And with the safety issues raised about gun safety and nothing being done, the property manager and the UPM and line producer should also face some liability. And one look at the line producer and her "woke" self you can tell what was between the armorers legs was more important in her hiring than what competence she had in her brain.

Is there anyone who DIDN'T handle the armorer's cart? That and the gun should have been a no touch crime scene. The officer also handled the gun with no gloves. I know it is obvious that Alec handled it, but still, the powder/burns on it is evidence too. A defense lawyer is going to have a hayday with how the evidence was handled, if it gets to that point.
@limitedcask75602 жыл бұрын
Especially with the team Alec could put together $$$
@RealSiViX2 жыл бұрын
Gloves generally don't matter much when it comes to recovering guns for evidence. You can't typically recover fingerprints from them like you see in the movies and there's not much concern for DNA contamination because aside from the point you already made that everyone knows it was Alec handling the gun, every officer on scene also has their DNA (and fingerprints) on file with the department so any DNA contamination would be irrelevant as they would know who the contaminating DNA belongs to. There's no fear of removing powder/burns evidence either as that would be much harder to remove than simply brushing it off with skin contact. In general, the evidence that is typically recovered from a gun would be ballistics-based evidence and DNA evidence which neither would be affected by the wearing (or not wearing) of gloves.
@rob992012 жыл бұрын
@@RealSiViX I was thinking about chain of evidence - who handled post shot, not DNA. "...would be much harder..." why introduce the issue in the first place - are gloves so difficult whenever at a crime scene? I wasn't sure when it first happened, now I'm convinced your 100% right. I don't care for Bladwin, but it wasn't his fault, he's the actor, not supposed to know about guns, that is the purpose of hiring an armour, and having them present. Actors are theatrical people, even if he did pull the trigger, he was "rehearsing" in his mind, with an empty gun, that an armour had cleared, technically not his job to clear it. @henningbackhaus62682 жыл бұрын
Maybe. Alec Baldwin as an actor cannot be held responsible. Actors are, in a sense, insane when they're filming. I don't mean that disrespectfully, it simply corresponds to the fact that they slip into a parallel world, some more, others less. The parallel world has to be protected - by the director and the production department. And that's where the unfortunate fact that Baldwin is part of the production department comes into play. Baldwin as producer bears responsibility.
@ronaldjeffrey87122 жыл бұрын
Following proper procedure the firearm should have been visually inspected if front of everyone involved on the set (simply saying "Cold gun" doesn't cut it) Baldwin should never have taken possession of the gun without the armorer present, and he shouldn't have been pointing it at anyone. The "He can't be held accountable, he's just an actor" argument is ludicrous. Being an "Actor" doesn't absolve you from responsibility.
