You just gave me another idea for overnight oats! The overnight oats I've been making lately have sprouted oats, chia seeds, greek yogurt, non dairy milk, chopped up sweet cherries, and vanilla stevia. In the morning, I put a drizzle of maple syrup and some sliced almonds on the top. It's so creamy and delicious!

For me having anything sweet gets me hungry for something savory after. That’s why I have oats with out any sugars or try to have a non sugar breakfast in the morning.

Does anyone else hate cold overnight oats?
@devorahstree6717 ай бұрын
Yes, I do not see the appeal of raw cold oats. I cook mine first, and then mix with milk, chia seeds and whatever else and then put it away overnight. Yum!

I was wondering why I always feel so hungry even after eating oats 😅 But I add protein powder to them sometimes and I still get super hungry…anyone else?
@ReemSalah286 ай бұрын
Adding Greek yogurt and fruit make it more filling than protein powder for me! I see protein powder as a "filler protein." I use it to up the protein amount for the day, but it doesn't satiate whatsoever
@WideAwakeSpiritually5 ай бұрын
I use a Greek yogurt that has 2%-5% milk fat. A little bit of fat keeps me fuller for a longer period of time. So fiber and healthy fat.
@anaaaab-fv2fuАй бұрын
Adding some other healthy fibers and proteins may help you stay full longer but also make sure you drink a glass of water 30 minutes before you plan to eat

Oats are supporting "good sleep" more than "good morning" since they contain natural stimulants for sleep.

Cold oats are just so gross to me. The texture is so grainy and mushy at the same time. I really tried to love overnight oats because of how versatile they are lol

Does overnight oats taste different than cooking oatmeal?
@nikkistahr71056 ай бұрын
Just A lil bit..but it's cold n texture a little different since it's cold and sometimes mixed with yogurts or nut puddings.. Try one but let it sit overnight for sure and use something sweet like fruit or dates blended in. They are good if you get your ratios and toppings on point. Enjoy exploring luv🎉

Then you're not eating enough...add fruit and almond milk and hemp seeds and walnuts and macadamia nuts and almonds and chia seeds and a banana!
@peejayfromhell6 ай бұрын
@@pinkiepinkster8395that sure can help although macadamia nuts and walnuts are literally the two highest calorie foods on Earth besides pure oil, so it's very easy to turn your breakfast into a 1000 calorie dessert. If you can burn it off than sure it's a great healthy addition.
@Xxxxxxxxxxxxx987656 ай бұрын
Oats have over 20g of protein per cup alone.
@gabriellequidet57425 ай бұрын
They are incomplete proteins. Humans don't metabolise amino acids on their own but in full chains. When an amino acid is lacking it's useless. And oats are full of antinutrients just like plant based milk btw

Tired of these overnight oats recipes. One, they're eaten cold (eating foods straight out of the fridge is a no-no and breakfast should be eaten hot!) and two, they are so sugary, not savoury.
@blazer23fan5 ай бұрын
Breakfast doesn't need to be eaten hot, and can be sugary. I feel pity for you knowing your tastebuds are rotten. You're delusional.
