Here's a full-body strength workout for beginners that you can do at home. All you need is a mat - no equipment involved.

I’m a beginner in working out I’ve done cardio for about 2 wks and thought I should start doing strength workouts as well! Good luck to everyone else in their journey will be doing this 3x a week

Can't believe I'm seeing this comment 2yrs after.. when I saw ur comment I was wondering how far u must have come in ur journey after these years, and actually I am a beginner in strength training I've only been doing cardio my whole entire life so that's a big step for me since i hats strength workouts from the bottom of my core lol; And ur comment kind of just inspired me ❤

this has really helped me! i want to start getting toned and today was the first time i could do everything without stopping. the push ups used to be really hard for me so being able to complete them is really motivating, even if i'm still only on my knees :)

Thank you so much for sharing this with me! You have to remember this: doing NOTHING gives you no results. Action, even a little bit, continues to bring you one step closer and closer to your goals. Your workouts don't have to be super intense, and you don't have to completely change your diet...it's just a matter of taking it one day at a time, one step at a time, and trusting the process!

I do pushups at an incline so I can practice and develop the muscles I need to do proper pushups.

I love it. It was hard. It was my first time trying it out and I feel great. It will take some time for me stick to the whole video with out stopping too many times. Weight loss and working out is a long process. I’ll be patient and keep trying. Thank you for the video!! Update: I gained weird because of lockdown put I am stronger and have better physical conditions. My body did have changes.

Thanks, Jenny! I didn't realize just HOW out of shape I let myself get during this (ongoing) pandemic. I have decided to change it by alternating yoga one day, strength the next and cardio the next. Out of shape on all fronts!! Your video is great! I couldn't quite do it all but I will be sticking with you on this one until I can keep up the whole time (several times) and then will move on to your next degree of difficulty. Beautiful work out. But I would have loved you added like a beep toward the last 5 seconds so we know when it's ending. Because like doing crunches i don't know when it's ending so I get distracted looking up for the seconds.

Needs a beep to indicate transition. Transition from left to right or end and start. This can save the need for the viewer to constantly monitor the video for the next transition.

Its a good workout. I would add some sound ques when time is coming up or when switching sides as some of the exercise are facing down and its not obvious when its time to switch without constantly checking on the time.

Today is the second day I did this and the pushups are already a little easier even if I had to put my hands on top of my bed, because even on my knees, they were so hard with my hands on the ground. And I also noticed that doing the pushups with a fist instead of my hand flat on the ground helps to make my wrists not hurt while doing it. Thank you so much for the video.

Am 11 year old girl and I've never been Able to do more than one push up I did the first and second excercise and felt pretty tired but yet I did 5-7 push ups no problem

Great workout, and quick enough to do daily. Work of warning though, you will absolutely need ad blocker to make it through uninterrupted! Got stopped twice by unskippable ads!

Thanks Jenny great simole workout, I just subscribed. I'm wanting to get fit and strong. Personally I have a really high metabolism and I'm not wanting to 'lose weight' like most workout channels market for. I want to build strength and muscle weight. Even though I am a beginner and it was my very first time doing strength training for a very long time ,I feel the relief in my body and back ,it was hard for me,I couldn’t do all of the push ups but I will try doing and and coming to your video some times for a week

it was OK, just maybe can add a sound or signal for when moving on to next exercise or resting just a thought. coz id be working out and i didn't realize we had move on to the next exercise or rest...but good exercise for my day thank-you.

I wish there was a verbal cue to switch I kept having to rewind and redo and I feel like the reps were uneven now. Other than that good exercises

I wish there was a ding or some kind of sound indication for transitions. The workout itself is good but it doesn’t flow well if I have to keep looking at the screen to see if the next move has come…

I like the exercises in this video, but would suggest having some sound cue for when you switch legs and when you go into a new pose. Also advertising in middle of video not my favorite thing.

Here's me trying this! I'm 14, 5"3, 130-something pounds and I'm really out of shape. How long do you think it'll take for me to get into shape if I do this exercise everyday? Day 1: Got 5 minutes through, had to stop because I was shaking. Legs feel numb. (Keep in mind I had already walked on a treadmill for 12 minutes)

Calories burned depends on your height, weight, current fitness level, intensity, and many other factors. There’s no way to accurately predict how many calories you burn; however, you can use a fitness tracking app like a FitBit or an Apple Watch to give you a close estimate to calories burned.
