With stress & anxiety, gentle stretches and breathing exercises can often help provide relief. This video shows stretches for the neck & chest area as well as diaphragmatic breathing which may help. More stretches for stress and anxiety relief: • Relieve Stress & Anxie...
Start off with stretching the neck area. Upper trap, levator scap, and sternocleidomastoid (SCM) stretches are a great way to help relieve stress and tension.
Isometric exercises are also great to relieve stress and tension by activating the muscles but not making big movements that might be painful. Cervical side bending and rotation are great ways to help relax the neck muscles.
Finally, diaphragmatic or belly breathing can help the whole body relax and reduce stress.

This is why im here. I've been feeling like since I've been looking up at my TV so much it's Been causing alot of tension . Causing a bit of stress and anxiety. Idk if that makes sense . But my body feels it lol

It does make total sense! I get you. I work with my computer a lot and it’s so important to stretch it out. Also with the stresses from work we totally carry tension in our bodies.

❤I drive a lot at work, just being stiff looking forward while I’m driving creates tension on my neck. When I would turn my head and my eyesight, I would feel a sensation on my eyes. It makes sense now, it’s stress relief when I would do that.❤ Can’t wait to do this excersises.

I have been suffering from unnecessary stress which affects my sleep. I appreciate your video which are very effective in relieving hard muscles over the neck and shoulders. I am 11 And most of my under 13 years were wasted staying indoors with technology shubbed up my face 24/7 I've never thought or worried about depression and or anxiety until quarantine. I've stayed inside thinking that everything will be okay, it wasn't okay. And now I'm struggling with vitamin d deficiency and stress/anxiety. Thanks for releasing some stress out of my body

Just did this and was kinda like “hmm this isn’t doing much” then lay down to do the belly breathing and everything in my back, neck and hips clicked into place and I felt instant calm. Obviously did something!!

Dr. Jo from last 2 months my right shoulder arm and fingers started aching whenever i do something like washing dishes and swelling comes with a sharp pain im nerves.... My nerves also swells and becomes visible though my nerves were never visible before this problem... I am having neck ache along with headache from many years....
