Who knew it could be hard to hold your arms out to the side for 1 minute; I felt the burn! Great a.m. routine to mobilize that pesky shoulder joint. Thanks Kellen!!

Just did this as a warmup before my upper body workout today. I am already sore! Took my time and went slowly and my arms were burning 🥵 Will definitely add this to my upper body warmup rotation. Thank you.

i've been having strange nerve sensations running from neck to shoulder down my arm for years, this loosened everything up in just 10 minutes!! what a relief, thank you!

Can't believe I never commented on this! Since I had shoulder surgery for a torn labrum, my range of motion in one of my shoulders has gone back to normal and I've been able to strengthen it with exercise, but every now and then it'll act up a bit. Routines like yours help so much to loosen things up and keep the blood flowing!

Can't tell you how wonderful and helpful this was. Bless you brother. It is my hope that more people partake in moving their bodies in a more primal way, and not just stick strictly to weight lifting and other conventional forms of fitness. I hope your channel explodes brother. Thanks again !

Thank you very much for your mobility routines. i´ve had a displaced shoulder before 3,5 years. Mobility got better over time, but i could not lay at night on the shoulder without pain. since nearly 2 weeks i practise with two of your shoulder videos and i can sleep without pain. Overall mobility got much better, too. Thank you very much.

I'd add the one gliding shoulder blades against back rib cage (stick arms out reach from shoulder blades to move arms further away). Believe that's the false joint stretch too.

You may have to modify the range of motion or omit some of the movements all together. Circles, spirals, and arms out may be the best patterns.

Curious why not alternate side instead of just fatiguing 1 side? By the time I get towards the end of the exercise for 1 side, I have nothing left to keep good form.
@StrengthFlowFitness3 жыл бұрын
The aim is to promote blood flow and build strength endurance. Also, constantly switching sides can interrupt the process of building awareness / refining of the movement. You can either allow yourself small breaks between movements or write the series down and perform it any way you feel is best for your body.

Not everything is meant to come together in 5 minutes tho. Your body needs / deserves time to decipher the movement. Practice a few times a week and take short video clips for feedback & adjustments. Everything feels like flailing around in the dark until one day the light flicks on. Movement practice is really about those "aha" moments.
