Hi Jonathan, hope you are doing well. Love this tutorial video which is very helpful. Questions regarding Globe Plants: 1. Using many high poly files for landscaping projects could be affecting the files size in TwinMotion and also slow down the program. The low poly files aren’t good enough in quality. You mentioned ‘medium’ poly files but I don’t see them on Globe Plants. 2. Which file types and which poly qty from Globe Plants do you suggest to use in Twinmotion and Vectorworks? (Globe Plants asked about the below, however I don’t have any experience on the results/outcome therefore I don’t know what to chose.) For Twinmotion: A) TMI or FBX files B) low medium or high res files For Vectorworks: C) 2D image props or 3D models D) low medium or high res files Your insights are much appreciated. Cheers Grethe

Hi Grethe, It all depends on the use case and project size and how much computer power and time you have so different in each case?

Thanks for the video ! I have some globe plants I bought before, but there are fbx. Haven't been able to import them :(.Those globe plants are fbx format ? Or there are .tmi ?

They do bundles of FBX which will import but to have them display in your twinmotion library get the Twinmotion bundles.

Hi Jonathan, really loving your videos and binge watching at the moment. Wonder if you'll be able to give some advice. I'm an architects doing residential houses in Australia. I have an older Mac, looking at upgrading to Mac Mini M2 pro. I do my modelling and technical drawings on Vector works and looking for a render add on. I see you do all your rendering on PC, would you recommend moving away from Mac if I want to add rendering to my workflow (final client renders I may still outsource depending on how I progress with rendering). Are there any of the rendering software programs that would be suitable/somewhat optimised for Mac, and if so any preference (looking for ease of use first, then speed then quality) thanks .

I use both platforms and have developed a true cross platform workflow, with mac as mt main workhorse, but PC's for high end rendering due to the dedicated RTX GPU's.

Have you tried Globe plants, and if so what was your experience. Personally, I find the quality snd realism of the plants UNBELIEVABLE! Referral Link 15% off. globeplants.com/?ref=realtimerendering

I only have experience with Maxtree (which is pretty good), but I'll certainly take a look!
