cool , but how do you make the fiber wood in the right direction on the different offset like 45 degree ?

Very interesting way of doing this, Is there any way of adjusting the gap as it seems it leaves a bigger gap on the tips of the pattern?

+Jordan Moss adjusting the first two sliders in the levels node should do this.

Hello, have you finally found how to randomize the contrast between the tiles?

It's easy to do in the latest version using the flood fill nodes.

Great, but how do you randomize the actually input for each wood ?

Hi, could you perhaps explain in a bit more detail what you mean?

Okay! I almost solved it now but its so messy. I wanted each wood tile to have a little bit different look, because if you just apply a grid on top of one texture then the underlying wood pattern doesnt change at all , as it would look if the tiles were actual all from random pieces of wood. Do you see what i mean?

Thanks for the example, i tried it. However, this will not help with the problem i described, you are still stuck with two textures for all your planks. So you will have a lot of repetition that is impossible to get rid of. This solution is good for stone / teracota tiles but not for wood or any material where you have a distinct pattern going on. Thanks anyway.

Hey blackmagic I made one in which the planks have different patterns. I don't know of this is the most optimal way to have it done but If you havent solved it yet perhaps I can help you, just shoot me a message. cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/222739438243938304/263845975586504704/unknown.png
