I love basically everything about suit supply its my favorite menswear store on planet earth as of right now. The styling the fit the quality and price are all just at a sweet spot for me and the service is just incredible. Ive only ever been to one store and it was the Chicago location but every time i walk in i get gitty with excitement because I know I’m gonna leave with what I want and even if they don’t have it in store they can ship it in or to me at my house. Never had a negative experience and its the only place I recommend people to buy suits and its the only place that i buy my suits from. Simply the best

You know, I would love to see him go to Savile row to get a fully bespoke suit, shirt and all. Though perhaps that process would take quite a bit of time, more than one trip to London. Jon would certainly look good in that kind of European style.

Great video! All three shirts look great. The MTM fits you beautifully! Easy to tell the difference between it and the other two. Really like the position of the monogram too! Classy.

Hey, I bought SS shirts online and found that their collar stay is not removable, how can I make clean in this case?
@julioc49785 жыл бұрын
I wonder why all their shirts for the blue line are button instead of cufflinks type sleeves The alterations can add up very quickly depending what you need done. I wonder if it’s a good idea to buy it online and have it altered elsewhere.

is the baseline shirt any better than say twillory or tir bar
@The_Kavalier5 жыл бұрын
Would pick Twillory

Any idea how the base line would compare to John W. Nordstrom? Starting a new job in a month, and besides getting some new suits, I’d like to refresh my shirts as well. Thanks JC.

I would call that a casual shirt since it has a button-down collar. It is very nice though!

How would you compare the quality of the baseline $79 shirts to the bonobos daily grind shirts?
@The_Kavalier7 жыл бұрын
I'd say very comparable. Sounds like a perfect video 😜

Brand, check. Completely agree. Interested to hear more about your thoughts on price... Is the premium that you're paying for MTM worth it? "Worth" is always an interesting opinion from guy-to-guy. Interested to hear your POV. Thanks!

Excellent review. Body proportions are really tricky when it comes to fit. I'm 170lbs at 5ft6in 15.5 neck,43 chest, 33 waist, 16 bicep. I have to go MTO/MTM out of necessity. I would do this for my best impressions shirts. For my everyday wear, I'll buy reduced OTR and have my tailor at my local dry cleaners hem the sleeve and/or hem body length. I tried Peter Manning but I work out and that brand is too tight a fit. #Short man that lifts problems😂
@The_Kavalier7 жыл бұрын
Yes our proportions call for custom most of the time. Happy that prices are coming down so much in this space. Sounds like I need your lifting routine, need to bulk up!

The Kavalier - Your content and reviews have really taken out a lot of the guesswork w/ regards to which brands I'd like to try and for that I thank you. Good health, nutrition, and some form of challenging exercise should be a priority for everyones quality of life. Nothing wrong w/ adding a little muscle but really, don't worry about bulking up. You are fine the way you are. All the best.

SuitSupply MTM seems very expensive. You can get a bespoke shirt for around that price.
@The_Kavalier7 жыл бұрын

CEGO Shirts and Geneva Shirts has a good reputation from what i have seen. Starting price is around the same as SuitSupply MTM shirts.

oh man $220+tax is really a lot for a shirt. im trying to stick to a 2018 no-buy on clothing-related items (for as long as possible) and your videos aren't exactly helping my cause :P

220 $ for a MTM shirt seem like quite much for me. Maybe it's because I live in Europe, but there are bespoke shirtmakers where you get a shirt for around 130 Euros (about 150 Dollars) .

If I could suggest something to these videos better. Iron every shirt before you wear it so we get a better idea of what it looks like. Also order the same color, not different patterns. Also review LUXIRE

I have been steaming most items I wore the MTO shirt to work that day so it had some daily wear wrinkles. Noted!

No for that price. I would rather spend less, and have name brand. What is suitsupply. No I'll stick with brooks brothers !!

I'm 38 years old started buying shirts like this at 16 years of age so that's 22 years of experience trials and errors and those shirts look like off the rack ROSS Stores shirts ..and in fact you can get much better deals for ugly shirts like yours at Ross for 15 to 20 bucks ..couse nobody gives a shit if your wearing a 500 dollar shirt it's how it looks a 15 dollar shirt can look the same or better as your 200 dollar one..
@The_Kavalier7 жыл бұрын
That’s great you can buy standard off the rack sizes, that is not the case for everyone. People can absolutely tell if you’re wearing a high quality proper fitting shirt.

I don't care how convenient they are they don't sound great and are just hideous looking (the black ones from colorware look ok)
