As a creepypasta, the story is pretty bad, there's barely anything creepy aside from the possibility of Nintendo going into darker stories. But as a sadpasta, I think it's very good! The one-liner really works in that case, as it symbolizes that this game was an entire "funeral" and "grieving" to innocence in the game industry throughout the story.

Small nitpick, but if Toad were more sad and sorry instead of angry it would have felt more fitting, maybe giving even more weight to the whole loss of innocence idea. Especially since toad isn't a very realistic character that you would not see in a "real" setting.

I feel like this story is a little silly when thinking about it as something Nintendo actually made, but it’s very good as a more of an art piece regarding the social climate of video games :]

Even though this story has flaws, I'd honestly say it's pretty good.

This pasta could’ve been better if it wasn’t so unbelievable. I don’t think that Nintendo would have ever done something like this, and I feel like it would be more believable if the game was created by an disgruntled ex member of the team, pushed into a corner by the expectations of Nintendo.
