honestly? Thats "one of the best builds?" Really?? You must got a very fine sense of Humour that i didnt get ...
@purplegravy3 жыл бұрын
@@10zoll seriously? This isn’t a race car, this is just a fun project. One I haven’t seen on KZbin (a miracle if you ask me). Don’t be upset that Matt has a large vocabulary and has experience with auto manufacturing. Sure the car is a mishmash of bullshit and will probably drive worse than the original Jag but at least it will be faster (hopefully). So, yeah, I stick by my original statement of ‘one of the best builds’. And plus, Matt is funny as fuck. So there.

And if so, it'll be a hackjob, barely to go around the parking lot". So I thought. And now, what feels like a week later, here's a damn rolling chassis and despite your comments about the "shortcuts" you took - it looks so damn fine and shows so much thought and ingenuity, there's nothing I can give but my deepest respect!

Watching this on a cell phone that has been giving me some problems. There is no way this video was on You Tube! If You Tube was more like this I would be watching all day! My secret desire is to basically build an updated version of the Holman-Moody Challenger which was based upon a modified 1962 Ford Falcon unibody, adding an updated suspension front and rear. In other words a "what if" H-M had actually built a batch of the design. Your 3D printing video tells me it is possible to build the car but I would have to 3D print the needed shop machines first. Excellent progress, challenge for you for the next video! Your challenge, should you choose to accept, is to pronounce Jaguar as spoken in the UK, you say "jagwarh", but it should be spoken as "Jag-u-ah" (just say Jaguah without the pauses). It's an English car and I am sure the car would love hearing its name spoken correctly! Your challenge! I have two of the earliest cars that William Lyons designed & built on other car manufacturer's chassis's, Swallows, I think that there are a couple in USA - an Austin Swallow & a Standard Swallow, most are here in the UK, very rare beasts! Greetings from the UK!

SuperfastMatthew, what would be your preferred way to attach a motorcycle directly to a small diff? Like your S600 but mid-engine. Like sv1000 engine to Miata diff. Would some weird transfer case need to come into play to center the vtwin in font of the center of the diff or let the engine be offset and not worry? If there’s a clever and easy way to attach all these things then you’d have a rear subframe that holds suspension, engine, transmission, and rear differential all together. Thats basically 2/3 a car with two assemblies. Connect some long rails to a v8 roadsters front subframe and seat in the center you got a 1960’s f1 car.
@SuperfastMatt3 жыл бұрын
That would be badass. I'm sure you could directly connect the two, and just offset the engine. You could balance out the weight by moving things like the battery and fuel tank to the other side.
