Incredible woman. Glad Cynthia is sharing her story so other people might not have to go through everything she did.

Fantastic episode, Ryan! Thank you for sharing your story and explaining a lot of the mystery around colon cancer treatment. All the best for your upcoming oncology appointment, Cyn ❤

As someone who was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer at 35 and is currently being treated, this is a wonderful episode, and thank you so much for talking about your experiences. I had no family history or genetic factors, but if you have a change in bowel habits that lasts longer than 2 weeks, it's worth getting a stool sample kit (in Aus they're $30!) Or a colonoscopy (private is about $1500ish) since public will put you on a long wait list if you're young. I had panic attacks after I moved from my hometown to my husbands, which was 4 years before my diagnosis. That's an interesting thing I want to look into now. My diagnosis also started with having low iron levels! Everyone, if you're feeling tired, please get your iron levels checked!! Thank you to Ryan for hosting such an important interview and Cynthia for being so open and willing to talk about such a scary and intense experience, it means a lot to people like me that there is hope and the journey can come to more of a close where it isn't constant fear or constant appointments or endless chemo.
