Hi Michael, I am completely new to the five Tibetan Rites and knew nothing of them until yesterday. I have just worked through your wonderful video. When I say worked through... I mean exactly that. Some of the moves I found very difficult and it will take me a little while I'm sure, to get to grips with them before I feel I am doing them correctly. But already I feel better knowing that I have found these movements which I am feel will set me on the right track, to re-connect with my mind, body and spirit. After neglecting myself in favour of spending 12 to 14 hours a day often 7 days a week, trying to turn my business around. I was also just wondering if it is normal for someone doing these moves for the first time to well up with tears when coming to the end relaxation position? This took me totally by surprise, as I am usually someone who keeps very tight controls on outward shows of emotion. I am pleased that I was working with your video at home and not in a class situation 🙂 Thank you once again for this wonderful video and tutorial, It's just what I needed 🙂

Thank you for sharing your heartfelt experience with the Five Tibetan Rites. It's truly wonderful to hear that you've found the video helpful in beginning your journey with these movements. Firstly, it's absolutely normal to find some of the moves challenging initially. It's a practice, and the more you engage with it, the more comfortable and connected you'll become with each movement. As for feeling emotional during the end relaxation position, it's not uncommon. Unlocking emotions, and the release is part of the process for many people. It's a beautiful and personal experience, and you should allow yourself the space to embrace it. Remember, it's all about progress, not perfection. We're here to support you. Thank you for being part of our community, and I wish you continued well-being on your path!

Dear Sir, can I know how to count one time for salutation? right and left foot for one round or right foot for one count? Some people do 108 times for sun salutation. I don't know how they count for one time. Please explain it. Thanks.
@yogalap3 жыл бұрын
Dear May, one sun salutation is one round of all 11 postures. Start your rounds with stepping right foot back. Next round with stepping left foot back, then right again, etc. 108 times of sun salutations is a lot of sun salutations. ;) Always make sure you take time to let the body and energy system settle after doing your rounds of sun salutations and do meditation after your asana practice. Peace and blessings, Michaël

@@yogalap Thank you dear. Much appreciated. I got it. We need to know our body and notice the mind while breathing and doing right position. Keeping mind clam in more important than counts. Well explained.

Namasté friend, there are many ways of doing Surya Namaskar, the important thing is what we do with the mind and breath while making the movements right? One of my gurus is Dr Omanand Guruji, a wonderful and great spirit. I wish you success in your practice! Peace and blessings
