It did! He was grinning from ear to ear. I asked him to be a part of the video and talk about his experience, but he was too shy. It was over 70 yrs ago when he first found it with his brother, he was 17 yrs old.

You know of any others around there? Apparently there are or were a few more. We’ve looked, but it’s too thick w growth, so we’re gonna wait until it’s cold out and the bushes die off.

@@AdventuresRUs Yep, there is a couple more, besides the mine up that creek in the area. I too will be waiting for the fall season to explore. Though the river will be flowing much faster by then. I'll have to catch up with you guy's next time I see you in town to get some future explores I've wanted to do!

Hello Douglas:) That’d be a great idea, but they’re so expensive! Maybe we’ll find someone with something that will work. We’ve thought about draining it with a pump, but for now I think we’ll wait and see how low the river gets and maybe nature will help us out w this one :)

@@AdventuresRUs I also thought you could put a GoPro on a string and lower it in! Maybe with some lights strapped to the side. Probably not the best plan, but it might be pretty trippy. It is a pretty cool mine, especially on a hot day (the swimming bit).
